Noahs big day...
Noah spent all afternoon in the ER at Presby because the little clunker fell and smacked his chin and bit into his tongue. Lots of blood and tears later, we were seen by a doc. 
No stitches, just motrin and lots of kisses while he heals. No crunchy things and chase every solids meal down with water and he will be fine in a week! He didn't bite all the way through, and the Doc remembered him from 11 months earlier when Noah fell off DH and clunked his head on the hardwood floor. The doc did note how healthy Noah was, and told us to dose the motrin by weight and not age, because Noah is so big.
CIO is working tho! He only cried for about 30 minutes before going to bed today! Last night it was 45 minutes, but I think we kept him up with all the cheering we did for the Giants.
Anyway, Noah is back to his old self now. Sticking his tongue out everywhere and blowing raspberries at his brothers.

Oh, I'm so glad he's alright! That had to be painful for the little guy! Also, yay for sleeping better! That's great!

poor little guy, hope he feels better soon.
you ALWAYS dose meds (tylenol, motrin, and even benedryl when possible) by weight if you are able to.

I figured Jillian, but Im so paranoid about overdosing him since he's not weighed on a regular basis. Plus, each of my boys have such a high tolerance to pain meds, even the docs are left guessing.

Oh my, that title made me think he had a good day.  Poor Noah!
On a better note, so glad to hear he is getting the falling to sleep thing. Patience and practice, that's what it takes!

Owie! Glad he's OK after his fall. Sounds like the CIO is helping and I hope soon, he's down to not crying at all.

man I was just about to post about this, we had a similar experience Sunday night, but NO ER for us. I about freaked when I saw the blood. Poor Noah, glad he seems like his old self again, but what a scare, I think It was more the blood that really threw me
