Hey guys! Has it been this slow all the time I was gone? It seems dead! Well, I need some suggestions. My sister is getting married and wants a couple of showers (which is fine!) One of her favorite games is the one where you video tape the fiance answering questions and asking the BTB the same questions and seeing how well she knows her future husband. She claims that she knows everything about him, so we (my other sisters and I) want to come up with some HARD questions for her to answer. So if you guys have and fun, or outrageous questions we can ask him, post here please.

Also, the other "shower" we are going to throw her is going to be kind of like a bachelorette party, but not exactly. As you know, we are LDS, so no drinking allowed, no naked men, (my youngest sister said she was going to buy each of our husbands one of those tshirts that have the buffed body on it and make them come and dance around for us don't think they will go for it) but we are going to do a lingere party. But I have no idea what to do at this little shindig. If you guys have any suggestions for this too, that would be great! Also, wording for an invite. I feel a little wierd about just coming out and asking them to bring lingere or "bedroom" items, but is that what I should do? Thanks girls! It's so good to have so many friends that can lend a helping hand!

The invites for the lingerie party.... make them look like a DOOR. you can do a tri-fold, man if i was closer I'd totally help you. The front flap is the Door (put a little sign that says DO NOT DISTURB), then it opens to the invite and you can have details. I thikn that would be so cute.

for the first shower... ill have to think about Questions. ill ask Dh and see if he has input and get back to you.

when is she getting married? when are the showers? Im assuming 1 is family oriented and the "girly" one is just friends hence 2 showers?

She is getting married July 18th. Her "family" shower is on June 14th and the "fun" shower is on July 12th. That is a GREAT idea about the invite. I'll have to do that one! Help me with the wording. I wish you were closer too, I could probably use the help.

BTW, off subject. You were in my dream last night. I dreamt that you couldn't find anywhere in Cali to do your surgery, so you came here, and your kids stayed with us while you were in the hospital! Made me laugh!

hmm, Im trying to think of wording and the only thing I can come up with is SECRETS. make it a special, secret type thing b/c well, we dont talk about bedroom behavior with anyone, kwim? and Lingerie is assosciated with all of that

You can google invite words. You should find lots of party ideas online!

I had a lingerie shower and the card was pink and white with drawings of cartoon type lingerie. The wording said something like "it's time to put the flannels away, Stacey will soon be celebrating her marriage day. It's Steve we want to impress, so let's shower her with boudoir type dress!" Anyhow, you get the idea. It told people to buy "stuff for the bedroom" with her little poem.

Thank goodness it was only my girlfriends. I really don't like that kind of shower when moms, MIL, grandmas etc are there!

As for the video game questions:

What size clothes, shoes, bra?

Favorite meal to cook?

First place they kissed?

What she wore on her first date with him?

Does she like the toilet paper rolled over the top or under the bottom of the roll?

Does he squeeze the toothpaste from the middle, bottom or top?

What was his first "tape", CD, album, whatever, that he bought?

What was the name of her first family pet?

In the shower, what does she wash first? (face, torso, hair )

Craziest place they have ever made out?

How does she put her bra on? (Reach through it and hook it in back or hook it in front and spin it around?)

I dunno how personal you want to get!

Those are some great questions. I agree with Kami that you always have a good response to everything! They don't live together, so some of them might be a little TO personal, but the others are good ones! Thanks!

My mom will be to the lengerie shower, but no grandmas or anything. That's just the kind of personality my mom has. Very laid back.
