Icon6 Modeling the monkey harness (pic heavy)

I think a couple of you girls were curious to see the "walking harness" being worn.

Ta da! Here is Chase (in his jammies) the first minute I put it on:

Alas, so young to already have a Monkey on his back

Hmm, what is that on my wrist?:

Oh, it's a tail!

Let's go for a walk, Mom!

So there it is. If you missed the original thread, we were talking about our LO's not wanting to ride in the stroller or the grocery cart and even running away from us. So I bought this, thinking about our upcoming airline trip. I went to the mall with my SIL awhile back and we saw 3 kids "on leashes." 2 had this type and one had the older plain kind.

I am no longer opposed to having my walker "on a leash!"

Too cute, Stacey! It's hard for people to be critical about it being a "leash" when he looks that darn cute with it on! Who cares anyway, right!? If it keeps him safe, that's what counts!

We have one for tristin too. We use it all the time cause he is just at that age where he says he "Wants to take a walk" in his words. LOL. It is great! They have them at walmart too. They have a puppy one. Wwe have the monkey one. You will notice you will get lots of comments about him having a monkey on his back. LOL Be carefull too. Tristin would always try to lift his legs and swing. He got hurt pretty bad one time trying to do that. He doesn't do it any more.
Here is a picture of him with his monkey on his back.

I want one! That would definitely be great for the airport where I need her to keep with us but need her to walk energy. I'm so nervous about our flights!

I'd love one too... may have to look into it soon, my only fear is that he will throw a fit and lay down if i dont let him go where he wants to go....

LOL at the mental image of Noah laying down during a temper tantrum! Aren't kids so funny when they do that? Ok, well, not always funny in public, but it does make me laugh for some reason.

Lacey, that is a cute pic of Tristin! I did read on the web reviews about one little girl getting her head hurt when she darted out in a parking lot and her dad jerked the leash to stop her. According to the ER doc, he said the accident wouldn't have happened if the leash attached at the shoulders, instead of mid back. I doubt that though, I think any parent's reaction would be to snatch them back fast if they were in danger. I just don't think I would let mine wander that far from me in situations like that!

I thought about getting the puppy dog....thinking about the monkey on the back comments, lol, but I like the dark brown of the monkey showing less dirt. There I go, always being practical.

BRU has them, too, just a little different and pricier.

We're getting the monkey, too. I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Scott used to talk about putting our kids on a "leash" way before we got pg with Colton and I was so opposed to the idea. That is until we tried to let him walk in the store with us one day. Yeah, we're definitely getting a leash.
