Default Major Storms rolling through

Its absolutely insane outside. Its 95* (at 7pm), and today it poured rain so hard the boys absolutely freaked out. Thunder rolled through and it sounded like my house was going to fall to pieces. Right now Im sitting here listening to the thunder and its just crazy.

And thankfully they say Monday we should have great weather. We're going back to the lake for a nice relaxing day... well as relaxing as you can get with 8 kids in tow (its just me, dh and neighbor). They kids are 10, 8, 6, 2- 3 yr olds, 16 mos and 6 mos. Its gonna be so nice though, and ill be sure to take my camera this time

Thank heavens our roof is NEW otherwise Id be panicking. Earlier the rain was coming down in 5 different directions.

Fingers crossed its not too bad when DH gets off work. In So-Cal changing your windshield wipers isnt a big deal b/c it never rains so his are completely beat up and he said he cant even use them. If its raining hard when he gets off he might have to catch a ride with someone and then we would get the truck tomorrow. Really DONT Want to do that (its a waste of gas, IMO)

Wow we have had a lot of strom storms this year too. Crazy. I hear you on the gas thing. We really wanted to go to hubbys cousins wedding but to just go for a quick weekend trip and spend $100 on gas it nuts.

We really wanted to go to Sea World before school goes back in session. We have season passes so we were planning $75 and some spending money. The whole day would be under $200. Gas has since jumped so much that it cost us $85 to fill up the van the other day. Now we're looking at $150 or more in just gas.

Not sure we are still going. Have to get caught up on some things first.

LOL, as we speak us Albertans are having a massive rain storm. Thunder nearly scared the poop out of me. Raining so hard I can barely see out the window.
