Icon5 LO's activities?

What activties do you do with your LO?

Kate used to go to Gymboree last fall. Last night we started a Music Together class. It was so fantastic! I loved it because I was able to take both girls. Kate danced around and played with a bunch of instruments. She made friends with a girl who is the same age and who coincidentally has a little sister who is 3 months old. (Those girls are 12 months apart!)

Tonight a library near by is having a sleepy story hour that we are going to at 7pm. The girls are going in jammies. I also still take Kate to my breastfeeding group, although she is the oldest baby there. I think Matt is going to be taking Kate to swim lessons in the fall. All of a sudden she is nervous and cries in the tub so we don't want her to be afraid of the water.

Just curious what everyone else is doing with their LOs?

Awwww, times like these really make me miss not being able to stay at home and take advantage of extra stuff.

On weekends, we go to the playground, the pool, on occasion we go to someone's house with kids. Some evenings during the week Chase and I stroll the neighborhood and green way. We have a gigantic inflatable waterslide that we have used twice now and Chase loved it.

We don't pay for any organized activities and I haven't checked into our local bookstores or libraries for story time...I just kind of assumed it would be daytime stuff.

We seem to have such limited free time or are out of town.

Glad you have so much going on for the girls. It must really help add something to your life as well! I would love the social aspect of it.

We mainly just have palydates, I have a very good friend and we went through our pregnancies together and then ended up having our babies on the same day, so we see them at least once a week and he girls get to play together, either at one of our homes or at the park, our park has a great toddler section that they can almost navigate all on their own...we've also been going to MIl's pool this summer, and Annalee loves it, but ends up wanting to run around on the concrete after about an hour...but it has helped her to not mind having water in her face!!

I take Julia to a reading time at the library and a playgroup club that is also at the library but we only go if they fall on a Tuesday or Thursday since they're both for kids under 24m and Emma is older than that. I also have play dates with our friend's kids and days at the amusement park, beach and picnics with friends and their kids. I'm still debating sending Jules to school with Emma. The cost is the only reason I haven't decided.

I'm the organizer for a mom and me group in my area, so we're out and about all the time! The group currently has 30 members, so we're always getting together with other moms and their kids. We go to the playgrounds, the movies, the parks, playdates, picnis, gymboree, the library, inside play places, kids' concerts, swim classes, the zoos, different day trips to area attractions. Pretty much anything toddler friendly, we're there!

Ooo, I forgot to mention the park. I can only go if we have enough time to spend there. Kate LOVES the swings and when I take her off she screams bloody murder.
