Jenn, do you think it's tastier than a chocolate cake box mix? I swear I am so lazy that if measuring all those ingredients out isn't tastier than opening up the Duncan Hines, than I don't bother!

Yeah I do. Its denser than a cake mix (so you feel like you're eating more for the same size piece, very important to me. ) and I find that is moister than a cake mix. Where a cake mix cake will dry out pretty quick, the mayo cake will not.

Good to know! When I am craving chocolate cake, I am gonna try it. And that must mean right now. Too bad it's not a saturday or after 4 pm!

Yes it was with the mayo. I think it is really good. It is not as sweet as other box cakes. But I like that about it. I was bad last night and had two pieces.

That's exactly why I like it too Angela - its not a sticky sugary sweet like cake mixes. You don't feel like you've eaten a cup of sugar when you've finished a piece. Oh, and if you want another yummy idea with that - before you put it in the oven, sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on the top. The last time I made it I bought a dark chocolate bar 72% cocoa and chopped it up. Dark chocolate gooey goodness on top! Lord, I have to make this today.
