Hey, I just have to be realistic here!! It's sad.... I don't fit into my maternity clothes. Maybe if I were harder on myself, I wouldn't have a weight problem. ((((reach in purse, grab 2 peanut M&Ms and put to mouth))))

A king's cake is kind of like a big danish, and you eat it to celebrate Mardi Gras. Whoever finds the baby in his/her piece of cake has to throw the party next year.

We are going to a Mardi Gras party tonight at our friends' home. It is also their daughter's birthday, so they are doing a combination kid-birthday-party/adult-fat-tuesday party!

Our kids also had a big party at school today too. They had pancakes for lunch, wore a ton of beads to school, and decorated mardi gras masks to wear at their party today.

Sounds like fun! No Fat Tuesday parties around here. I guess most of us are just Yankees.
