Good karma-Pay it forward! O/T

Yay, I love it when good deeds are rewarded!

My mother has been receiving formula coupons for all 3 brands (since I signed her up when Chase was 6 months old ) and when she came to visit me a couple weeks ago, she brought her stash. I had a few Next Step/Go and Grow ones so the total was about $55 worth. (It kills me when people want to ebay and craigslist those to make money.)
I listed them on Freecycle to give away yesterday and the first mama replied and said she would send a SASE and wanted to give her friends the brands she didn't use. Perfect! (I, of course, thought of us here first, but between the BFing and switching to whole milk, I figured we were done with formula pretty much.)

And my good deed of passing on coupons got my old oven sold yesterday, too! (it's been on CL for about 5 weeks)

A lady called me through craigslist from a town 90 mins away. Her husband committed suicide last month over financial troubles that she didn't even know they had. She still has a son to raise and doesn't have a career to fall back on. So she wants to bake bread and pound cakes for extra money. She had an oven newer than mine and a better price lined up, but that fell through yesterday. I felt so bad for her that I cut my price in half and she was beyond thrillled. She is going to have a cabinet built to hold this wall oven so she can bake twice the amount in a day.

Even though we REALLY needed the money, she needs it more right now. She even brought us a loaf of her bread and a couple slices of pound cake. Delicious!!! (DH was freaked out about eating a stranger's food, but I checked the internet, her story is true
and she brought her son and brother with her...she was super nice and ended up knowing some relatives of mine in her small town!!!)

Anyone else have any pay it forward stories???
