Gettin a little nervous...

We have had a lot going on lately....

On Monday i brought Noah to his relatively NEW babysitters house and when i got there she was a wreck and covered in bruises and such... her husband had done that the night before to her.

So I called in and started looking for a new place for him... and seeing as how individuals haven't been entirely dependable, i made the decision to send him back to daycare.... I hope he can stay healthy....

But my real concern right now is him NOT getting kicked out the first week.... He has turned into a terrible biter... mainly when he is over tired or over stimulated... he's left bite marks on me, DH and the boys.... we do all of the advised things like telling him no biting and removing him from situations.... i am really worried he won't stop and will get kicked out!

Oh gosh! You've had a rough week with babysitters! Did he start back to daycare already this week? I'm glad you found an opening. I will keep my fingers crossed that he can stay healthy there!

to you. Gosh I hope your old babysitter is OK. Do you know her well enough to find out what is going on? Thank goodness nothing happened when Noah was there. Kinda terrifying to thing of that kind of abusive person around your child.

Good luck Kami and hopefully he will out grow it soon. I hear it can be a miserable stage for Mom and Dad

I was gald it didnt happen while he was there too... SCARY... she was my neighbor before we moved last september... I have tried calling and the phone is disconnected and he smashed her cell... i have been a little afraid of going by there but i do need to get Noahs things that were left behind... she hasn't logged on to her myspace or anything and that was a daily thing for her.... i am worried... she is due in september and i cannot believe he did that to her, my heart has been so broken over the whole thing...

Oh and i forgot the fact that i couldn't find anyone to watch Noah this week so WALKER has been watching him this week... he has done a totally awesome job with him.... i am so happy it's been a smooth week.... he had one nasty diaper and walker called and told me he gave him a bath... i laughed so hard... talk about good birth control huh???

I forgot to add he starts on Monday at the daycare... he was so excited when we went for the tour!

i tyhink u did the right thing with the sitter. noah doesnt need to be around that.

Holy wow Kami, that's scary!! I am so so thankful nothing happened while your sweet boy was there. I hope Noah will do great in daycare and won't resort to biting.

BTW, that is so sweet, it sounds like Walker is doing a great job taking care of Noah this week.

He just called me and said Noah was covered in Spaghetti and could he give him a bath before he put him down for his nap.... I said well yes please do!

So sweet of Walker. I can't believe what a big guy he is to be watching Noah!

So coincidental of your post - Kate started biting yesterday. She bit me twice and tried to bit Caroline's toes! I remember one of my nephews biting around this age too. Hopefully it passes soon!

It's really gotten bad... we have to watch every time he gets close to us and opens his mouth... we cant tell if he's going to kiss us or bite us... he really bites hard too....

Good luck with the daycare. Trev doesn't bite, but for some reason my 3 year old just started biting. UGH!! I'm going nuts.

Walker sounds like he did an awesome job with Noah! I think the biting thing may be a phase and hopefully he'll learn that you don't like it and don't want to play with him when he bites you. I bet he'll be so excited by all the stuff going on in the daycare that he won't bite anyone. Sounds like he's going to love it. Hope your friend is OK. That sounds like a scary situation she's in.

Wow that is so scary, I really hope your friend is ok. It's worrysome that you haven't been able to get in touch with her. If I were you, I might even take someone with me when you go to pick up Noah's things, just in case. Walker sounds awesome, what a big help! I hope everything works out in daycare, at least you know he will be in a safe situation. Good luck with the biting, hopefully it's just a phase he is going through and will be over very soon.
