Who's LO saw fireworks on the 4th? And what was their reaction?

Kate was in awe of the bight colors but was not fond of the boom. We went to a spot that was too close for her. We kept ooing and ahhing over them and she would say Wow but cringe at the same time!

Elissa didn't really pay much attention to them, some of the loud ones scared her at first but she got use to the noise pretty quickly.

Nicholas LOVED them we sat pretty close and he wowed the whole time...it was Mya who wowed but the sound bothered her...she wanted to go home after 5 minutes....We went to a high school in Roselle which is a nearby suburb and they had a band and then fireworks so they loosened up before hand but as soon as we got home they KNOCKED out and the ones by my house didnt bother them

That's so cute that Kate was saying wow! We went to the beach and hung out with some friends for a couple of hours before the fireworks, that was fun and it was a beautiful evening there, not hot at all, but Kian kept running off and he fell in love with a PINK innertube floaty thing that belonged to a nearby little girl, so every time I let him down he'd make a beeline for it and try to steal it, so I was chasing him the whole time. I was so glad when he finally got tuckered out a little bit and was content to sit in our laps.

He loved the fireworks, he giggled and said "ooohh" when they went off. We were really closeby some of them but the sound didn't seem to bother him. I was surprised.

Noah is scared of loud noises so i kept him inside, plus everything was happening after his bedtime and he isn't fun to deal with too long past that...

We did, I was more concerned about her staying up late enough for them since her bed time is 7:30 and the show didn't even start until 9:30, but she did great, and absolutely luuuuuved it!! She kept saying ooooooohhh, ooooooooooh, and she reached out her hand and tried to touch them, we were right under them, tthey seemed really close...and the noise didn't bother her at all, it was a lot of fun!!

Sean stayed home with the girls, and I watched them from my car. ME is more afraid of things like that than Megan. I think Megan would have looked and pointed, while ME screamed. (That's usually what happens). Megan seems to trust that we wouldn't knowingly put her in danger.

Matthew loved them. The cabin next to us set off a huge show of fireworks. I could not imagine what their firework bill was.

That is so cute that Kate would say Wow! Matthew laughed the whole time he did not seem startled from the bang like the girls would.
