Woohoo! It's officially happening for sure!
Kristina called from her observation room just now. Matt is taking a nap, after being up all night working. Kristina is hooked up to the NST and is waiting on a room. When she gets there, they will be breaking her water.
She is:
90% effaced
-1 station
2 cm dilated
cxns every 4 mins
And here is the real news...........due to her lovenox shot she gave herself last night, as usual, she CAN'T HAVE AN EPIDURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If she ends up needing a C-section, she will have to be put under for the birth.
Pray for a successful VBAC and strong "you can do this naturally!" vibes for her!
Karen, Kristina says she keeps reminding herself that if you can do this 5 times without drugs, she can do this now.

I think she is in pain and made sure to call me IN BETWEEN her contractions. Ouch.
Kristina is planning on having her mom bring Kate to the hospital late this afternoon. She wants her to be there and be one of the first to meet this baby, but it's so hard to guess when that moment will be and Kate can't really stay in the room this whole time.
I asked her if she gave Kate a hug and kiss this morning as her only child before she left, but Kate was still asleep. She doesn't even know she is getting a sibling today, hee hee.
Kristina says she will update again in a few hours!
(Matt did bring his laptop, but at the moment, it's in the car.)
