Icon5 Anyone use a double jogging stroller? Pics included

We did last weekend and it was surprisingly easy to push and lightweight. It's very well balanced and folds in half...a little hard to get into a big trunk though, an SUV was a better fit.

Steve and I bought one for $75 a year ago at a consignment store, when my nephew was born. We left it at the ILs house, figuring both boys will always be there together and it keeps us from bringing the regular bulky stroller when the car is so packed.

Here is Chase and Richard (8 months apart) when we stopped to have lunch. We were at an outdoor art show and thank goodness, this stroller fit through the door way of the restaurant's porch were we sat to eat. Look how tired Chase is! He's resting on his cousin.

And here they are later that day, on the beach while DH is flying his kite. Yikes, Chase's eye looks really bad here, but the ped said it's not ptosis, just the way he's built.

The boys did great sharing that space! Now who knows what will happen when they get bigger. We shall see if elbows get thrown!

I've thought about getting one on more than one occasion but I know it would be "Mommy, Julia is pushing on me" and "Mom, Julia is touching my arm" because that's the way at home sitting on the floor watching TV. Those are cute pics of Chase and his cousin. They don't look as much alike as Claire and Chase.

such a good idea to get one for the grandparents house Stacey. we have alot of stuff that stays at my parents house for the kids. never needed a stroller though (my mom is WEIRD, she refuses to use one).

they look so cute though.

The boys looked more alike as newborns then they do now. DH and his brother look alot alike and my SIL and I are similar (we've been asked by strangers if we were sisters) so we thought for sure our kids would look alike! Funny that she dyes her hair blonde and I don't and she got the true blondie baby.

They are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!!!! I love how well they get along! My cousin just gave me a HUGE stroller this weekend that holds two kids but one sits in front of the other. Its like the cadillac of strollers. Who knows if I will ever use it!! My cousin has a little boy that is 7 months older than Megan, but since she isnt walking, its hard for them to be interested in the same things! Does Richard and Chase have the same problem?

We have a Jane powertwin. We paid a rediculous amount of money for it. It is wonderful to push but I hate folding it up. Instead I am using my $11 walmart stroller for apointments. LMBO!

They look at each other, but at this age it's still a lot of parallel play...not really interacting. Unless it's to snatch a toy from each other or Richard likes to slap him, poke him, lay on him. Richard's cousin is 8 months older than he is so my SIL tells me that Richard gets the treatment from him that he dishes out to Chase! Wonder when they will actually play together? I see another year or 2 of closely watching them together. I did see both of them standing up at the end table, banging their hands on the table top. It think it was a case of monkey see, monkey do!

I have the Jane Powertwin too. At first I loved it but now Leo is getting a little to big for it. there is no leg room in the front and Sofia has no room in the back. I wish I would have bought the Phil & Ted because I could have used it as a double for when they were little and now converted it back to a single and let Leo walk. I can only fit the Jane into the trunk if I deassamble the front wheel which is a PITA (lol). Instead I mostly use a single stroller now that I had from when Leo was just born.

Chase and his cousin look so cute together. i am glad they are getting along like that. great idea to keep the double stroller at your ILs.

if you think it could be ptosis i would take him to a specialist to get Chase checked out.
