Well, I was thinking it could be, so I asked her, and based on her reasoning, I don't think it is. She said his lid would be really lagging behind the other one in movement. And not just when he is tired. As of right now, it just looks weaker when he is tired. But both of his eyes do when he is sleepy...just the one looks more pronouced when tired. Chase's ped pointed out to me that one of my eyes was smaller than the other. Yep, I do see that sometimes when looking in the mirror.
I don't think my neice has ptosis either, but her one eye opening looks smaller to me...not the lid lagging as ptosis would be. They are seeing a specialist so I am ready to hear what s/he says. She also has a blocked tear duct in that smaller eye so it's always goopy. Poor lil thing!
and BTW, I pronounced it puh-TOE-sis in the doc office and she thought I said pertussis. No, he doesn't have pertussis she said. LOL, the p is silent! My SIL had pronounced it that way and I didn't know better. It's just TOE-sis.
