First I noticed this with the twins that when they got a diaper rash that was rasied and RED it was really from something they ate and not from the diaper itself. WELL after investigating all the foods I fed them it came down to High Fructose Corn Syrup!! It's everywhere: Juice, cookies, canned fruit, sauce etc.

So that leads me to Jacob....................................

I gave the boys some hot chocolate the other day with whipped cream after sledding.........I gave Jacob some of the whipped cream without thinking to look at the ingredents........YEP corn syrup! Now he has a raised red rash!! I feel bad!!

The twins outgrew the reaction over time. But I was reading all the labels of everything and even the generic brand tylenol from Target has High Fructose Corn syrup!! URGH!!! So if you LO gets an unexplained red raised butt rash might be HFCS.
