Not sure if that was an appropriate thread title or not, but I couldn't come up with anything better. Anyway... Has anyone tried taking the little one(s) to something like a movie, concert, etc? We took Kaitlyn to the Opry Saturday night for Carrie Underwood's induction and she did really well. But we have tickets for Tina Turner's Atlanta concert in November and I'm really debating on whether or not she'll last for the whole show and whether or not the sound will be too much for her. Opinions?

Does she love to dance? If so, maybe she would do well as long as there is space for her to get down.

We did a movie at 4 months and would not try it now. We did Seaworld and all of the shows and she was enthralled during the whole show. But as soon as it was over she wanted DOWN!

The Carrie Underwood induction must have been really neat. I am jealous!

hmm thats a tough call.
It would depend on whether having to leave early because she hated it would ruin your day[or night]. If your willing to 'wing it' and see how it goes then go for it! Often they suprise us by how much they get from accompanying us.We took our older son to walt disney world at 20 months[along with his sisters at 7 ,10] and he loved it all ,but we met many people there who said they had left their little one of a similar age at home because they were "Too little to enjoy it " "Wouldnt stand in line" or would hinder the families enjoyment in some way.Each family is different I guess

Meet my little penguin now 18 months old...

Lilith's gone to the movies and Disneyland since she was a month old. She does pretty good. She hasn't been to a movie in a few months, but last time it was I Am Legend and she sait there and watched the whole thing...I thought she'd have gone to sleep.
