Eva too. She loves to go over to her bookshelf and pick out some books. Her favorites include The Very Hungry Caterpillar, She too loves to stick her fingers through the holes, I Love You Through and Through, she likes to point out her body parts as they come up, and Guess How Much I Love You.
Delilah loves her books. She goes to her bookshelf and picks out what books she wants to read before bedtime. She will pull one out, say No, and put it back if it's a book she doesn't want to read that day. Her favorite book changes weekly. She is even starting to say the titles of the books she loves like Brown Bear, Brown Bear! and Pat the bunny. It's too cute!! I love that we have another book lover in our house.
We have to read the same book at naptime and bedtime every day. It's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She loves it so much! She kisses the butterfly goodnight before I get my good night kiss and put her in her crib! I like it too, she points at all of the foods on Saturday! The rest of them are all me.
Alivia loves books!! She can't get enough actually. Her favorite is this educational book about bugs that is for a 5 year old I think. She actually surprised me the other night and said "Butterfly" when we were reading it. Then when we were on a walk last night a little tiny bug landed in the stroller and she looked at it and said "Butterfly!"
Lurking from Born in May... (btw. your daughter is darling!)... my little one loves loves loves books, she only says mama- dada- .. and ook (for books), she definetly has favorites though.. but brown bear brown bear, tops the charts, and she will drop everything and run across the room for it, or if we fall or get hurt, we can just recite part of it, and it calms her so so much.
