How is everyone??
Anyone heard from Amanda or Shannon??
I wonder if Amanda had that baby!?!?!

I have been lurking in Due in May and Amanda is 3 days past her due date and getting very anxious (and rightfully so). As of last night, there was still no baby and it didn't look like she was coming in the next day or so.
I have been really sick and not around much- not morning sickness sick, but some bacterial infection that I contracted on my awful vacation in South America. It took 3 weeks and two antibiotics, but I am finally back to normal. Now I just have to worry that the antibiotics didn't harm the baby. The docs were very reluctant to give them to me since I am in the first trimester. They made me suffer for 10 days before they decided to treat me with anything. It was only when they saw that I lost 7 pounds that they said they had to get rid of whatever was causing this. They still don't know what it was, but it is gone, so I don't care.
I ordered a doppler and it is being delivered today, so once I hear the heartbeat, my mind will rest easier.

So- there is my update..... How are you Nessa?

I'm still around. I had been wondering about everyone. I looked up Heidi since we havent heard from her in a while and this is her last update :

I'm still here and pregnant! My due date is tomorrow...yikes! I think I've been have some mild contractions this morning.....but now that I've started timing them, they seem to have gone away! LOL Planning on taking a walk to see if that stirs things up!

That was Sunday so hopefully they are holding their little one now. I have been good, but work is kicking my butt. Just wanted to check in and say hi!!

Yes, it's been super quiet around these parts! I can hardly wait to hear about the babies! Hopefully we'll get news any day now!!!!

Hi Ladies.....Sorry I have been MIA. I have been spending lots of time with my DH as he is up visiting and waiting on our little one to arrive. Now that he is here I think she has decided that she does not want to come out any time soon. ARG....I am sooo ready for this to be over. I am so uncomfee and frustrated. I am going for a NST (non stress test) on Thursday to make sure Mackenzie is ok and that afternoon or Friday once my doctor sees the results we will plan an induction date if she has not come yet. WISH ME LUCK.....we are all hoping I go into labor on my own.

I have been trying all the home remedies I can think of but they are just not working. I guess part of my anxiety comes from the fact that I know my DH is running out of time off and the longer she stays in the less time he will have with her before he has to head back to work. I feel so bad that we still have to live apart. My DH is an amazing man and I am not sure I could do what he has too to support us. I do not think I could leave but I know it’s the right thing (I truly admire him for being so strong and amazing, I am one lucky lady)....it’s just very hard and sad for both of us. We are so excited but this has defiantly not happened how we had hoped. Still no word on my immigration.

Mary-Beth: Thanks for posting over on DIM; I have been thinking about you too. I am sorry to hear you were so sick....I am sure everything is going great with your little one. I know once I got my Doppler I was sooo happy. It truly helped get me though those crazy times where you worry something is wrong. To be able to hear that little heart beating away when ever you want is amazing. The first time it can be hard to find so do not panic if it takes some time......it took me a bit but if you relax you will find it

How is everyone else doing? I hope well. I miss you all and do keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I will let you all know when my little decided to come......PLEASE be soon!!!

My DH has been sick with bronchitis and I've been having to help care for him, so not much time for computers. The ticking of the keyboard gets on his nerves and it's right by our bed. LOL. I'm taking him back to his house where he works this evening. I will be back home tomorrow evening, so I should be back to normal on posting after that.

Otherwise, I'm ok. Baby has turned breech, but that's not a big deal for me, since I have c-sections and plenty of time for her to turn back anyway. It's more of an ouch factor for the kicks to the bladder and cervix than anything else. LOL

Hope you are all doing well.

Nice to hear from everyone!!!

Amanda- I did hear the heartbeat, it was tough to find and then tough to keep, but I was able to get a good 15 seconds out of it and have a rate of about 150bpm! That is so very relieving!!!!! I really hope you go soon, a great Mother's Day gift would to be at home with your baby!

Shannon- Good luck with DH!! I know when my DH is sick you would think the sky was falling! Hope he is better soon!

I'm sorry I've been MIA. I still have 3 weeks to my due date, and I'm getting really excited since my mother is arriving this Monday!! AH! I'm in Due in May and Heidi just posted there! she had her Little princess on May 4th!!!
