Hey all,
Okay... here's the situation. I'm 14dpo.... I can hardly wait to take a pg test. I would take one right now, but my dh wants me to wait. He wants me to "put it out of my mind & see what happens." He's frustrating me.

How long should I wait? Has it been long enough to tell yet? I'm so scared to take a test! Should I wait, or should I go ahead and do it? On one hand I want to, on the other, I'm scared out of my mind.
GRRRR!!!!
What to do?!!!

Metformin 1000mg daily
Femara 2.5 mg CD3-7
HCG shots

1st round-
Femara 2.5 mg CD3-7
Positive OPK- CD 11: HCG shot

2nd round-
Femara 2.5mg CD3-7
Currently on HOLD due to dh's s/a results. Waiting to see a urologist.

If you are truly 14 DPO then you could take a test and have it be accurate. Of course your husband doesn't sound like he's feeling terribly supportive tonight so if you get a BFN you'll probably be left to sooth yourself as he'll be irritatated that you tested anyway. I understand how you feel, I just had my IUI today and I'm alreay dying to know...it's really hard to wait but patience is a virtue and all...

How long is your cycle normally? If you normally have a 28 day cycle, I would at least wait till tomorrow. After all, like Enigma said, if your DH isn't supportive of you testing tonight, you certainly don't want an I told you so hanging over your head if things don't work out. A BFN would be bad enough without feeling like someone warned you not to test. And it could be too early - not by DPO standards, but just by your body not having enough hormone built up yet.

With one of my pregnancies, I implanted late and didn't get the at the typical 14 dpo, but I did a couple of days later. Hoping you get your . Keep us posted once you decide to test.

That is truly a hard call....is extremely hard when your DH is not on board. I would wait till tomorrow or the next day and test first thing in the morning. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
