I hope you are all doing great.
Had my day 3 bloods/ultrasound today - went fine - I have PCOS and it was there in fine form on my ovaries!!! I likely have about 15 small follicles on each ovary - crazy.
Anyways saw my doc and she has started me on Femara today for the next 5 days. I have my hsg test next Tuesday to get a good look at my uterus and tubes. Hopefully all will go fine with that.
I ovulated when I had my son on day 13 so if all goes well with this round we'll likely be looking at IUI next weekend. Can't believe how fast all of this is going.

Here's my question - my doc prescribed 5mgs of Femara but they come in 2.5mg pills so I need to take 2/day. My question is - do I take them both at once or split it up? I can't remember from when I took this before. For today I took both together with lunch but not sure if I should have and it isn't clear on the bottle.

My pills were the same; I took two at the same time, nightime for me. Unless your doc says differently, he probably means to take them together.

Thanks Ladies - that makes me feel better - I figured I should be taking them together but wasn't 100% sure.

Yes - today I will be taking mine at bedtime. I took them yesterday at lunch and was so drowsy! I was worried about driving home after work it was so bad... I will definitely be taking them at night now.

Keeping my fingers crossed for this cycle!!

I asked the pharmacist and the doctor about taking them together or twice a day, they both said to take them together. Makes you wonder why they don't just give you 1 5mg pill.

UMMM...I always took my once in the morning and once at night.
IDK I guess it really doesn't matter.
I will ask my re's nurse next cycle.
