Greetings,

I am 5 weeks now....well will be tomorrow and feeling pretty good. I am still extremely tired and could sleep 80% of the time. I get really tired if I am up doing something for too long....it’s like my energy has been suck right out of me. My lower back is still killing me but as long as I have some heat on it, it seems to relax and settle down for periods of time (thank goodness). I have small waves of nauseousness but nothing too major yet but I seem to be getting lots of head aches. I have not been taking anything for them as I am scared to take something that would harm the baby. The other major change has been my since of smell…..holly man has it become sensitive. I can smell so many things and at times I have to leave where I am or I know I will be sick. My DH thinks I am crazy as he can not smell what I am. I hope that changes as some things really bug me.

The other strange thing I have notice or lack there of is that my chest is not really ouchie yet. I have an odd question....I had a breast reduction many years ago, could that be affecting why am not getting tenderness? I know my chances are very very low to be able to breast feed as the surgeon could not make sure the milk ducts were not damages and size difference was quite substantial. I am hoping I will be able too but not counting on it. Anyone have the same situation or knows anyone that had?

I am so excited for my U/S on the 12th, that day just can not come fast enough. I can not wait to see how things are going and to know one way or another if I am having twins or not. I am starting to feel it is just one but really I have nothing to back that up other then a gut feeling.

So far so good....I will post another update after my U/S. I can NOT wait to have a baby belly…..and feel the movement!!! All in good time I guess…..I am just so NOT a patient person….the 2WW wait killed me and now this waiting is killing me….I am the type of person who wants things NOW….LOL….I guess I will have to get over that. LOL

congrats girl!!! im so happy for you. although my pregnancy didnt last, i will never forget the excitement i felt in the intial days of finding out i was pregnant.

have you given any thought to starting a pregnancy journal to one day give to your baby. i thought it was a nice idea to chronicle your love from the beginning. especially for those of us who have had to resort to meds and more to get pregnant.

We have a heartbeat 11/12/07!!!
Heartbeat 171 bpm at 8 weeks!!!!
At 11 weeks 3 days saw baby moving on u/s and kicking its long legs.
Heartbeat 168bpm at 15 weeks!!!!
The tech thinks she saw a scrotum....sooo little boy???

I agree about doing a pregnancy journal. I did one with my daughter and love to look back and read in it.
