Default U/S and going foward..

I went in for an appointment on Wednesday. 7 dpo.. I didn't know if I should do an u/s. So I scheduled one anyway. Bad news, I think? I had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary - it is pretty big (size of a golf ball). My dr sees the u/s report and says "oh, know!" Then, she looks like at my chart and notes that I am on 7 dpo. "Oh well, that doesn't mean anything." So then, she started making notes.. Progesterone last month was 48 on day 13 - " That is good" So I guess, we just wait this cycle out. "Let's do a 7 dpo progesterone test." Then before, she could push me out the door, I was like "hold on just a minute... you mentioned and HSG this past summer, I have now been ttc for 1 year!, I have tried clomid once, femara twice, I always ovulate on day 14 (except when taking o-drugs) and my progesterone is always good. I think I have this super cozy womb (high progesterone), my dh has gotten me pg 3 times before my son's birth, I bleed basically all cycle, biopsy is normal, I want an HSG!" She was like you are right! Call if you start AF, and we will set this up for you. So I am going non-medicated next cycle and getting an HSG between A/F and o. I hope everything is ok but something has to be wrong. Why am I not getting pg with a 28 day cycle and I always know o? Why do I bleed if I don't take the progesterone and ovulation inducer drugs? It was so easy getting pg before my son. I am older but 30 to 33 just doesn't seem like a huge difference. Anyway, here is to AF coming and me moving forward to some new answers. I am 9 dpo but I am pretty sure I am not pg. My body seems to messed up for it to happen.

I hope everyone is doing well.

WTG for pushing for your HSG! You deserve to have that and make sure the slate is nice and clean for a good implantation next cycle. Hav eyou had any immune panel testing? I was able to get Pg but would m/c sometimes within a day of a and it was due to my body attacking the embies. Just a thought. My problem ended up being a rheumatoid factor that was elevated by merely 2 points above normal. Just a thought if the HSG doesn't clear things up for you.

Hi Heather. I'm glad the doctor said you can have the HSG at least it will give you the peace of mind.
With me it took me only 2 cycles on Gonal F to get pregnant with my dd and I was 29. Now at 33 I've been taking first Femara for 2 months then last March I started Follistim. I had a ectopic Pg in Sept. 07 and lost my right tube. Then I had a chemical Pg. in Nov. 07.
Took a break for almost 3 months. Now i'll be back on Follistim. I don't know what the problem is either, the RE says I have unknown fertility issues. So who knows I hope this time is a sticky BFP for me and I hope the HSG scan will clean you out and you get that sticky BFP also. Good Luck

I understand. I had no problem getting preg with my dd, I'm older now, but not over 35, all our tests came back fine, HSG clear, I ovulate on Femara, and still no BFP. Unfortunately that's what they call unexplained infertility. It would be so much easier if we knew what the problem was and could treat it.
