I started Femara on Friday. Just took the 3rd pill, and my right ovary feels tender/sore. Just wondering if any of yall felt this. I'm thinking it's just my ovary getting ready and starting to produce the small follicles that will mature b/c it's too early to actually be Oing right now. I'm only on CD 7. Your opinions are greatly appreciated!

I know everyone reacts differently to the different IF drugs. I have heard that lots of women O earlier on Femara but CD 7 seems really early. BUT depending on how sensitive you are you may just be feeling the effects of the meds promoting follicle development. I know I always have cramps around the day I O (this can last anywhere from 2-4 days) and it can be worse some months more then others....I think I put this up to how many follicles are being developed and released.

It’s hard to say for sure but I would take this as a GREAT sign that something is cooking in there

I'm getting a trigger shot this time. Since this is my first cycle with FE, we're gonna try just the drug and see what happens. I did test with an OPK this am, and the line was fairly dark, not as dark as the control line, but we're getting there, so I'm very excited!

Hey Jessica, I was wondering if you still have sore ovaries. I am currently on cycle day 8. This is my second cycle on Femara. The first cycle was a BFN and I had a cyst that bled in to itself. I have no idea what that means but anyway this cycle I have been a little tender on both ovaries. I hope it is not cysts. I don't know if I will be allowed to keep taking it if I keep getting cysts. I am supposed to see my ob/gyn a week after o so I should know more then. The other two times I had cyst ( last month on Femara and a couple months back on Clomid), I didn't have any crampy or pain associated with it. I am afraid now that my head is making the slight pain all up... Good luck to you on this cycle. I know a lot of girls that have had great success with Femara.

Hey! I am still having sore ovaries. I think it's my ovaries growing the follicles and getting ready to O though. It's not like unbearable pain. And I've had a bunch of cysts, but it's not the same kind of pain. It's like really mild menstral cramps. I'm just praying for my pos OPK then a BFP hpt. I really don't want to have to do this very long. Some women O early and some O late, so I have no idea what to expect! I hate waiting.

I hope O comes soon for you. Good to know about the cysts. I am going to equate my pain to follicles too! I didn't have any pain with my other cysts. I sure didn't know I had cyst. It now just feels a little tender.. So maybe I am just gearing up to o?? I hope so. Femara made me o a little late last cycle. So I took it a little earlier this cycle. Waiting is tough. I have now been ttc for a little over a year. This cycle is my 2nd with Femara. I hope that we both get our BFPs soon! BTW, great pics of you and DH!
