Scared To Death!
sorry i havent been online ladies. I've been on complete bed rest and scared to death! On Saturday i discovered that i started bleeding and passed a small blood clot(sorry so graphic) so i called the hospital and they put me thru to my ob/gyn right away. He said that WASNT the baby and that if i started bleeding like a heavy period, cramping that chances are i was having a m/c but that it was still too early to tell. He told me to take it easy and not do anything so i've been on complete bed rest since saturday and the bleeding went from a bright red on saturday(was like that for maybe an hr or 2), down to just barely spotting a rusty brownish color. At no time have i had any cramps or severe pain. When i called the hosp. back and told them Sunday they said that was a good sign and to keep doing what i was doing(bed rest/lots of water). So thats what ive been doing. Just scared and hope the baby is ok. I gotta call the dr. back in the morning because he wasnt in there today. Plus when i called off today from work, my boss called me back and told me i was fired! (she said i had too many points and i know thats a lie!)

What a jerk of a boss. Good grief that is cold. I'm sure it's probably no secret that you guys have been trying to have a baby and that you have already dealt with one m/c. Unbelievable how unsympathetic some people - especially other women- can sometimes be.
I agree that the blood going from bright red to brown and no cramping is a good sign. Any chance that you and DH had any intimate contact prior to the bleeding? We had a girl on our Due in June board (I believe) that had a bright red gush of and med to light flow with some clots as well (she's carrying twins) and it turned out to be coming from her cervix, not the uterus and was due to irritation of the cervix following intercourse. Just a thought.
When will you be able to get in to see the doctor? Keeping you in my prayers that all is OK with baby. I know that is your first priority. Once that is situated, I hope you are able to get your job back - if you even want to go back there. KUP

Re: Scared To Death!
A lot of the women that work there are very cold. Both the boss's are(the director of nursing D.O.N as well as the administrator). And its even a health care facility! Oh well, i'll get another job and less stressful. DH and i havent had any intercourse since i found out i was pregnant but the day i started bleeding there was some(again, sorry for being graphic) stimulation, but no actual penetration because i was too afraid of something happening. But after 2 m/c's and one of those being recent(Feb.) im constantly worrying, trying not to though for the baby. Everybody is telling me that this may be a blessing in disguise(losing my job) and now i can relax and not be stressed out and worrying about lifting heavy people and running my butt off at work(some nursing homes are not good to work at, pregnant or not). Anyways, just gotta keep my faith and praying that everything will be alright with the baby.

Re: Scared To Death!
OH MY..... BIG BIG HUGS!!!!! It truly hope everything will be ok and I will keep you and the baby in my thoughts and prayers. I agree that is a very good sing that the color change and amount of flow has changed. Plus having no cramping is very good. Please keep us posted and take good care of your self.
I am sorry to hear about your job but by the sounds of it it truly is a blessing in disguise.

Re: Scared To Death!
Try to relax and take it easy I sure everything will be ok. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I can't belive how rude people could be, I to think its blessing you lost your job too. I had a job like that when I was preggo to it was very stressful and was with a bunch of rude people. I got fired at when I was 5 months pregnant, and I just enjoyed my pregnancy and relaxed it was great. Then when DD was 9 weeks I ended up wit ha awsome job which it almost stress free with great people, some things are just meant to be.

I agree with everyone else, some things are just meant to be, the rest may just be what you need. Try to take it easy (maybe even enjoy the time off!!) Take care of yourself and your lil bean. Prayers are coming your way!!!

Re: Scared To Death!
Hi ladies and TY! Yea, i think it is a blessing that i dont have to go into that stressful(highly stressful) place anymore. I found out that my older sister bled in her first trimester when she was preggie with DD and one of my friends bled with both of her DD's in the first trimester, guess its more common than i thought. I think our little bean will be ok, just cant wait til the ultrasound!! I wanna see our little bean! lol
Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement! All of you gals are TRUELY amazing and a Godsend! Now that im no longer employed maybe ill be able to get on here more and post lol! (in between resting that is).
