Default RE visit

Hello all- well I am back from a fun filled weekend in Las Vegas, and ready to go full force into this next round.

I had a day 10 follie scan yesterday and was around 15.5mm. I am going back tomorrow for another scan and will hopefully do the iui on Friday or Saturday.

What is really strange is that I started spotting again today after 3 days of no bleeding at all. It is really light pink blood, not AF or my normal spotting, it actually looks like blood from a papercut or something. I don't know what the heck is happening, but it is kinda freaking me out. I guess it is good that I am going back tomorrow. Last month I was spotting on this CD but I had never stopped.

I also asked them what the plan is if this month doesn't take and the nurse said probably injectibles. This is my 5th month so we might do one more before switching to injectibles. I think injectible meds are where you start to run into high chance of multiples so I would prefer to avoid that road.

Well- that is my update for now.....

Hi Mary Beth - Injectables was scary for me at first, it wasn't that bad before I had my dd. But now that I am on them again with a child its kinda scary but the RE's office really monitors everything even more then when you are on Femara. Like my first round of injectables was cancelled because there were way to many mature follicles. In the area you live we might even be going to the same RE, but I don't like talk alot about my geography. If you have PM privledges you can PM me and we can talk about it there.
But anyway the RE's I go to are wonderful they gave me a beautiful daughter and they do monitor injectable patients very well. If you have any questions I'll be here to answer them.

Hi Mary Beth,

Hope you had a wonderful time LV!

I have also been on injectables and as Karen said they do a good job of monitoring you, and keep close eye on your number of follicles...For instance my first 2 months we did low dosage and i had 1 follicle, this past cycle i did not respnd fast and eventually by upping the dosage we got 2 follicles...Also as Karen said, through monitoring (scans) you will know if you have many mature follicles and it will be your personal decision on how many you would be comfortable to ttc

Good Luck anD KUP!
