Well I am typing this from my cell phone so I hope it works...sry for not commenting on other threads I will do so later when I get home.
I wod love any of your ladies input, comments about my cycle this month... Well I started metformin and my re reduced my meds to 75u of gonal f on day 3...on day 6 I went for a follie check...now usually by day 8 I am lucky to have 8-10mm follie..so to our amazement I already had a 13mm and a few 6mm...woo hoo right? Then day 9 my 13 was only @ 13.5 but had had 3 others around 8-10 yay for others growing...but my E2 went from a 57 to a 47...eekk...sp re bumped my meds to 150u for 2 nights...I go back today, day 11 and my nurse have rotten time finding follies they thought my biggest was 13.7 and others 10ish...they asked me to hand for my re...he could only find 11-12....I am so confused...I don't think I o'd as my opk did not show positive...Has anyone heard of follies shrinking? I am quite baffled...Oh but so not giving up hope...I have always respnded slow...but I had such an amazing start...I welcome any advice, input, comments... thanks ladies...hope this works from my phone...heck of a lot of typing for nada...LOL

You know it does happen--when your eggs are not the right ones--for whatever reason. Those eggs get reabsorbed--but usually they continue to grow and then don't get triggered by your lh or the trigger so then they shrink--into nothing. However it is unfortunate and I am not sure what the solution is at this point in your cycle. It might not work out at all but if that is the case then I think that you def need more meds thenext go round. What did the RE say about the size of the eggs???

I too have heard about the follicle reabsorbing but you never know, I am cheering you on Lou!!

Well like i said last Friday i had a 13 mm, then on Monday it appeared to have shrunk and my E2 numbers dropped....My RE upped my dosage and on Wednesday I had at least 4 follies trying to grow and my E2 numbers were 120, i went back yesterday (CD 13) and my right side has decided to grow so now i have 2/3 on my left and 2/3 on my right trying to grow and my E2 is 420, so now my RE has reduced my meds so hopefully only my good follies will take off...I go back monday, I am still hoping that this is my month!!!

Keep in mind that ultrasound is not an exact science, either...I had two tech's take entirely different size readings from the exact same follie, one said 15.5, the other said 12.5. It's possible that it's just a diffence in the individual measuring points chosen by each person.
