Hi,
I've been posting on preg.org on the Clomid board, but they don't have a Femara board which I am now taking, so discovered this one! Mind if I join?? Has there been much success with the girls on Femara?

I can only say great things about Femara!! I was six cycles of Clomid and all BFN's. My first round of Femara on cd 12 my biggest follicle was 15.5 the next cycle we added 75 iu of Follistim (injections) and I had three follicles and triggered. Now in the dreeded 2 ww (nine day to go). I know several people that have gotten BFP's from Femara. Good luck and tons of baby dust comin at ya! Welcome again, and keep us posted!

, mommaphoebs! We'd LOVE to have you join us on this board! Let me introduce myself: my name is Heidi and I am one of the co-hosts of this board. We have several supportive and knowledgeable ladies around here that know all about TTC and Femara! And we also have a chat thread (for 'chatting') and a few games to get involved in to help pass the time. I sure hope to see you jump on in!

As for Femara success rates, we've had many BFPs on here! I can think of 3-4 just recently within the last couple of months! Just check out our 'Stats' thread (located at the top of the main Femara message board) and you can read all about them, what meds that person was on, dosage, what cycle days they took the drugs, etc. It's actually kinda interesting to see what worked for others.

I took 4 rounds of Clomid; which were all BFN. On my first round of Femara, I got pregnant, but m/c. I did three additional rounds of Femara; all BFN. And I am now seeing an RE. Just waiting for my DH to get some spermie tests done before we move on to something else!

Please let us know if you have any questions or even if you need someone to listen to you rant and rave. Remember, we know what you're going through!

We have lots of info at the top of the board, if you have any questions about Femara itself. We also have a stats board (that I need to get updated) but it does show a lot of success with members of this board. I have an 18 month old that messes up my good intentions of updating most times. I must put that on my list of things to try to get to very soon.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions you need to. We have a great supportive group here and no question is silly. We've all had them and if it weren't for the other ladies around here, we might not find out info that we will later be able to share with the next newbie. Once again, welcome and join in the chatting and games.
