Default New Protocol....

Alrighty ya'll have been great to me... so i just feel more comfortable here. I'm no longer on femara, I am starting super ovulation wiht these meds Northindrone ( for ten days ) then Lupron for 5 days ( half Way thru the ten days ) then i have my choice from 3 different FSH meds. My doc is teaching myself and a friend how to do the injections this morning. & well needles arent my best friend but it has to be done.
So i was wondering if any of you have done something like this ?
Thank you for the help

Shelly ~ So good to hear from you. I haven't done injectables, but have friends that tried everything else and got PG on the first or second round of them. So best of luck to you !!!! Thanks for keeping us updated. It's tough when someone moves on to another protocol and then never updates to let us know what happened. So glad you pop in to keep us up to speed. Looking forward to hearing about a from you very soon!

Hi Shelly,
I agree, if my doc does not continue me with Femara, i will want to still be chatting with these ladies here regardless, as they have been a great support for me.

Now as for injectables, April i was doing Femara along with Gonal F injections, the shots were obviously not much fun, but i just got used to them. This month i do not know what protocol the doc will suggest, but i have a feeling it will be more injections.

Good luck to you, keep us posted!

thank you Shannon & Louise -
Its hard when you get used to talking to just a certain people and everything i'm glad that ya'll dont mind me hanging around. I should get my protocol plan in the mail today or tomorrow mapping out all my meds then i will know more but right now i am just terrified of the needle but i'll be ok!
I also just had my HSG & the similar one wiht the dye in the uterus done. and i have been told that alot of people get preggy right after as well too. So here's to hoping that everything will come soon so my Dh will be home for at least some of it! But then again i have my insta husband ( my best friend she's great ) so she'll be around if i deliver when my Dh is gone. The nice thing is that she ( my doc ) i also hoping that i have twins .. but she will let me carry no mroe then that. its been so hard to get pregnate this time i dont know if i could do it all again. ... sorry for my little novel I'll stop!
I'll keep ya'll updated

Hi Shelly I just did injectables follitism and Ovidal (trigger shot). This was my first round of injectables after 2 months previous of femara. I was suppose to have the IUI this last Sunday but they cancelled it due to many, many mature folliciles. They are suppose to lower my does this time around. I actually just started spotting today so I'm thinking I will get AF tomorrow so we can start round two of injectables. Its only been 5 days since the scheduled IUI but you get AF real fast after injectables.
I got pregnant with my daughter on the second round of injectables in 2003.
It is scary at first I hate needles but you got to do what you have to do.
I to don't want to leave this board I like all the ladies they are great.
Good luck if you have any more question on injectables, ask me.

Shelly- Good-luck with the new protocol! I would be a little nervous about the shots too, but you'll do just fine once you get used to doing it! Hopefully this will be the secret combination to getting you preggy! I definitely think your turn is a coming!

Keep us updated as things go along- we wanna hear all about it!!

As for me, I just finally got an HSG approved.....and my civilian ob-gyn wants to put in a referral to an RE after he gets the results. So hopefully Tricare won't give me any heartache and will approve the referral to the RE too!

Just always weight your options ... things you might have to pay for i have to pay for half of my RE's charges. Tricare sux... but if i would have traveled to the Totally covered RE they would have still charged me for my IUI's and my RE in town does then for me! and the gas and work i would miss wouldnt be worth it .. so do your home work i hope that they are much nicer to you!
Good luck and i will be sure to keep ya'll posted!
