New to Board--Starting Femara in 3 days

Hello to all! I have been TTC for 21 months now and finally starting seeing an RE back at the beginning of February. I have PCOS and I have had 5 surgeries for endometriosis. FUN!!! Anyways...I will start Femara in 3 days...really hoping it will happen this time. I took 5 rounds of Clomid previously and I did ovulate but as always a BFN. My husband and I have a DD who is 4 and she wants a baby in our house so bad. She ask me every day if Jesus has put a baby in Mommy's belly yet.

But I thought I would join this board and start talking to individuals that know what I am going through. It is so hard to talk to my own friends and family because they just don't understand what I am going through. But I am praying for each and everyone of you on this board and I really do looking forward to getting to know some of you!

Hey Kris.. Just wanted to say WELCOME....
There are a lot of great girls on here that will help with any questions you may have or just support. I have found it to be very helpful and recently got my BFP (my siggy says most of my inform.) I totally understand the endo. problem.. I have endo. too I had one surgery in 2/05 and we started trying soon after that... I did not get my BFP until 4 or 5 months with the RE. Just try to stay encouraged b/c it CAN happen!!!

Kris! I am glad to see that you found us! You are right, family and friends, that haven't gone through the same thing, just don't understand the way you want them to. So this message board has been really helpful (and fun!) for me in more ways than one!

Feel free to keep us updated on anything and everything! And you might want to consider posting another thread to look for a cycle buddy. There might be someone at/near the same point in their cycle as you......it's kinda fun to compare notes or ask eachother how their cycle is going. Just an idea!

This is an awesome board for support. I'm Shannon and one of the hosts here. I don't have PCOS and am not currently using Femara, but will try to help answer questions or lead you to information here on the board. Feel free to join in the Word Conga game to pass the time. We'll start a new game soon to help with 2WWs and other down times. Once you start on Femara, let me know what dosage and I'll get you added to our members list. Watch for threads called "UPDATES" also. I will be doing those about once or twice a month. I will probably post one next week, so no need to go looking for the old one. Welcome!! My name is Jennifer and I have PCOS too. Not fun either. I am an oldie on this board and got my bfp the first month on femara. I did have many other meds I took before that and didn't work. Welcome!!! Everyone is soo nice i'm still kinda new 2nd cycle on the femara.
I like it though no side effects really.
