Hi girls!

I know this update has been long overdue, but things have been so busy lately! I pretty much had company since the 19th of September. My parents were the last bunch of visitors I had staying at our place and they just left yesterday! My DH is on a 3-week military TDY/trip and has about two more weeks to go before he gets to come home. I'm already missing him like crazy. I've been a military wife for over four years; you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but I'm not!
I thought after my parents went home, things would finally calm down for a bit. But the second night my parents were here, while we were having a nice time at the beach, we received a phone call saying that my 67 year-old grandma had had a massive stroke. Unfortunately, she didn't make it.

So I will be flying home to Utah tomorrow for a week to attend the funeral and spend time with family. I'm a little nervous about being pregnant and flying, but I arranged all my seats to be aisle seats for easy access to the bathroom, and I plan to bring lots of snacks and drink lots of water.
As for my pregnancy, I'm happy to report that things are going well! I'm a little over 14 weeks along, I'm no longer on any progesterone supplements, and I'm still being weaned off the Metformin. At our last appointment, on October 24, we got to see our little one moving around. He/she is finally starting to look like a baby! My next appointment is on November 19 and they'll just be listening for the baby's heartbeat with the doppler and I think drawing some blood. The appointment after that, which will be sometime before Christmas, we will be finding out if it is a boy or a girl!
I don't think it has really set in that I am pregnant yet though. My DH is finally starting to get excited now that I'm in the second trimester. He's been busy looking at cribs while in his free time on his trip! I think once I start feeling the baby move that it will finally hit me.
Sending you all loads of babydust!
