My levels... ?
Ok Thursday when i went to my appt. and had my ultrasound done, from what we could see the dr said everything looked fine and im measuring right where i should so he had the lab do b/w and that came back friday and he said that my levels are where they should be. Saturday (48 hrs later) i had to repeat that same lab so he could make sure my levels were increasing like they should. Today the nurse called me and said the dr wants me to go to the hosp tomorrow afternoon for another ultrasound and i asked her if everything was still ok and she said well yea you havent had anymore problems, your measuring where you should and your levels ARE increasing but not as fast as the dr would like. She said some women are like that at first. ???? What the h*ll does THAT mean????? Im kinda flippin out here and scared to death im going to lose another one!!!! i HATE when they drop freakin bombs on ya like that and then thats it! I dont know what my levels are cause they never told me either times. I thought everything was going just fine and ive had more nausea not in the morning but at night. I figured my would be a little more sore than what they are but maybe in time, i dont know. Any thoughts/suggestions/ etc...??????

Re: My levels... ?
They may want to check your estrogen levels in the next BW. I had to use estrogen patches for about 3 weeks with Ava, till my levels stayed up on their own. Not sure, but hey, at least they are staying on top of things and watching every little thing till you are in the clear and things are exactly like they should be. Will keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted as you find out more.
Glad you got to see the the other day. I know that was reassuring. BTW, every time I get a V u/s I spot a little, so yes that is very common, especially if they have to do a lot of moving the wand around due to it not working properly (as in your case).

Re: My levels... ?
I am so glad they are monitoring you so closely, and it will reassure you to have another u/s and see your lil peanut again....And like Shannon said spotting after u/s is sooo common. I do wish they had given you your numbers though. But at the end of the day they said they are increasing and that is good, and also the nausea is very good sign!
I wish i had a magic wand to take all the worries away, but sadly it comes with the territory, prepares you for the worry you will have once that bambino of yours arrives, yes the sleepless nights have only just begun...But it will so be worth it, i'm sure you know that :o)
I am thinking of you, please KUP, we are all here for you!

Re: My levels... ?
My dear Carolyn , I LOVE you so much, hun! Try not to stress too much! I know, MUCH easier said than done!
Celina is right, I have been RIGHT in your shoes....worrying about numbers and wondering what was going to happen with my little miracle. With me, my beta numbers (taken 48 hours apart) didn't exactly double like they were supposed to. They increased, but they didn't double. And my progesterone levels were all over the place. After my first set of b/w, they noticed my progesterone levels were low (despite being on a high dose of suppositories), after putting me on different supplements, the next b/w showed that my levels had dropped REALLY low, the next they had increased, etc. PLUS, my baby had a low heartbeat to begin with too! At 6 weeks, it was only beating at 98 bpm....which the doctors said they were somewhat concerned about, but had seen it before where the h/b starts out slow, only to increase later. A few days after that, I found out that my progesterone levels had dropped precariously low.......the doctors were really concerned about that (as was I) and I remember them telling me, over the phone, that after having the big drop in progesterone levels and the low heartbeat, that they honestly didn't know what was going to happen to my baby. I was a nervous freaking wreck!! Basically, I had weekly ultrasounds for about a month or so, just so they could check on the baby and make sure she was growing like she was supposed to. Despite everything my body was going through, she kept growing!
But anyway, hope my experience brings you some hope/encouragement in some way or another. Hang in there, girlie! I will be praying for you!!

Re: My levels... ?
Heidi: Thank you thank you thank you!! Your post just kinda hit the spot and touched on what im going through and how ive been feeling. I keep telling myself that the baby is strong and not going anywhere and that God gave us this baby at this time for a reason. Its just scarey with 2 prior miscarriages but once i pass that 12 wk mark i'll feel ALOT better(ive been purking up since yesterday). I love you too!
Thank ALL of you for your great support
