Yesterday (Sunday) I woke up in terrible pain again. I ended up going back to the hospital and they had to take my right Fallopian tube. They found the preg. in there along with alot of blood and some blood clots.
I knew I was going into surgery because the Re wanted to get in there and look around because they still couldn't see anything bad on the u/s.
When I woke up from the surgery my husband told me the bad news.
My mom had a ruptured tube that had to be removed back in the day. She ended up having three babies with one tube.
My left tube was always the good one which is good news. My daughter was from that tube. And every cycle when I was being montiored on the fertility meds that was always the better side, so thats good.
My doctor also said most women think that when this happens to them there is only a 50% chance now. But that is not true. He said it might only drop it down chance wise maybe 7%. I wanted to let you all know what is going on, but I have to go I'm really tired and sore. I'll check in soon.

Karen~ I am so sorry honey!! But like you said all hope is not lost. Your one tube has always been dominant, and that is awesome that your Mom was able to have three after losing a tube. We are here for you. Get some R AND R and post back when you can.

The tech thinks she saw a scrotum....sooo little boy???
25 weeks on 3/24/08......next appt. 4/7/08

Oh Karen i am so sorry you had to go through all of this. I am glad it is your dominant you still have, and it's great to hear your mom went on to have 3 babies with her one. Still i wish you didn't have to physically and emotionally experience this.

I'm so sorry that you have had to go through more pain and now a surgery on top of everything. Thankful that you got to keep your more favorable tube. Your attitude about everything is awesome. Now your body can get completely back to normal and you can move on to have a healthy baby very soon.

Well yesterday I got my stitches out. My RE said when AF shows I need to call and schedule a hysterosalpingogram (dye test for the tubes). Just to make sure the left tube is open. Then he said the next AF after that we can start everything again. It seems like such a long wait
I'll have to take my mind off of things but its hard.

Karen: Thanks! Im kinda in the same boat with you as far as the waiting thing goes...it's all on the other thread i posted, "Im baaack!" Now im not sure if my ob/gyn is gonna do the HSG or not since he found stuff with DH. If DH's SA came back ok he was gonna do a HSG on me and if that was ok, he was gonna do another Lap. on me. I hated the first HSG i had last year but im glad i went through it, even though it was very painful for me! Keep us posted on whats going on and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers!
