Well last monday I went and had a blood test that was positive. They set up an opp for tue. This is were it gets weird. I was told that my uterus is was measuring 5-6 weeks though I had my IUI on the 1st of the month, I also asked to have my betas done. The results were 181. I called back on Friday and told them I was experiencing some cramping. I was told o go back that they did not like my beta results and that I needed to retest. Also I should go home lift my feet and relax because I would probably have a mc that weekend. The results form the second bets were 632, she told me that they were doubling and I asked if they had tripled to which she informed me that doubling and tripling were the same thing (what-ever). I informed her that there was a chance I could have up to triplets. Here reply was and I quote "I don't think you are have multiples, I think you are have an ectopic pg. That I need to have a sono done.

With me so far? Well not only am I not having an ectopic pg it looks like I'm having TWINS. That I am WAY to early in the pg for her to scare me like that. So, now I am to go back on the 29th for another sono for an other looky. That there may in fact be THREE (yes I said THREE) babies in there.
Of coures my OB's pffice did not tell me any of this...the lady how did my sono did. My ob's office said it looked like twins and now I am a HRPH (high risk pg).

How wonderful, your news is soooo wonderful that you can just not even give those louts another thought, they are nurses? I remember when thoughtful caring people were nurses, what happened?

How Exciting!!!!

My OB's office has a pescimistic nurse like that. I always hated when I would have to talk to her on the phone about something, when I was PG with Ava. She was never concerned and always made comments that made me feel like I was overreacting to nothing. The only time she sounded happy on the phone with me was when she called me with my test results that told me if I was having a girl or a boy.
