Icon4 IUI today/ more drama

I had my IUI today DH counts were only 16 million last month 60 million WTF. My appointment was at 2 they didn't take me till 2:45 the nurse I had didn't seems that friendly this time she heated up that metal thing stuck that thing in and it burned really bad I hope I am not blistered in there. Then I had to ask for DH counts she wasn't even going to tell me. Maybe they were just busy.

DH has the problem again with the high WBC in his , so if they would of been any higer they would of cancelled the IUI today. We had the same problem when we were TTC DD they put him on antibotics. The next cycle they just got higher and it was cancelled the day of my IUI after I did all the meds and the HCG shot. (waste of money) Then they sent DH to Urologist for a bunch of test, they found nothing. So today they decided to do cultures on his sperm, I will hoping know more in a couple week. I told DH and he like I am not going though all those stupid test again. Thanks for listening ladies its so nice to be able to come on here and vent.

I'm sorry to hear that. Nothing is easy, is it?? When I was at my RE last week, he told me my dh had 18 million sperm in his sample and that that was good. 16 million should be ok too then shouldn't it?

Don't get all down over the WBC. Wasn't it Heidi's DH that had something like that attached to his swimmers and they were basically given NO HOPE and then look what happened. Fingers crossed that it turns out fine. Sorry about the hot speculum. That's a yikes situation!

Yes it was Heidi's dh they were recommended IVF I believe he had low count and antibodies or something like that. They got preggers on a non medicated cycle!! Don't loose hope one good egg and one sperm is all it takes!! Keep your head up!!

Yep, Nessa was right. My DH had very poor morphology (98% were abnormal) and 31% antibodies (basically attacking the sperm). We were told that we had a VERY SLIM chance of conceiving on our own and should seriously start looking into IVF with ICSI. Ten days after that, I found out I was pregnant!

God moves in mysterious ways. I thank God every day and feel so blessed by this little miracle growing inside me.

Try not to let those numbers discourage you. Once again, like Nessa said, it only takes one good egg and one good spermie!
