IUI on 8/23....

Hello- just checking to see if I have any cycle buddies.....
I had a u/s yesterday and was only at 17.5mm, today was 22. That kinda makes me think one of them is wrong.... hopefully yesterdays b/c I have the IUI scheduled for 8:30 thursday morning. I am going to use the OPK today and make sure- if I get a positive, I am going to get the IUI tomorrow instead.

I should know by the 8th of September at the very latest.....

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let this one work!!!!!!!

Well.... I think it went well, I had one follie at 22.5 which worried me because it was 22 two days ago. Did I ovulate yesterday and now it is shrinking? I had a second that was14 on tues. and 17.5 today, so maybe I am just being paranoid. The nurse said sometimes they stop growing when they are "big enough". DH's sample was great- so it is all on me now.

Before I left this am, DH told me to think butterflies and puppies. I said think morning sickness and stretch marks! Oh... what fun.

Onto my 2ww.......

Okay.... if I had my IUI on the 23rd, would that count as day 1 or is the 24th day 1? I am wondering b/c the 2nd is my wedding anniversary and I would love to test (and hopefully give my DH the BESTEST anniversary gift ever).... But it would either be 10 dpiui or 11dpiui.... the RE said to come in for b/w on the 7th which they said is 16 days after the iui, that would mean they use the 23rd as day 1, not the 24th.....

AGHHH.... what do you think? Too early to test? I am starting to "crave" (for lack of a better word) POAS!

the waiting is driving me CRAZY!!!!!

The 7th is actually 15 Day PAST your IUI but since that is a Saturday - they probably figured it was close enough. That being said, that would make the 2nd 10 day PAST IUI and 11 Days counting the IUI. I think the bigger deal is to be at least 10 days past the trigger shot, if I'm not mistaken. So I say TEST on that day girl, if you want to. I don't think it would give you a false positive and if it's negative, it could just be too early for the hormones to be in your system good enough to be detected. Just my

Okay.... another silly question..... the First Response Early Results test says that you can get results 5 days sooner (so I just went on my lunch break and got 2 boxes... 4 tests). Does that only apply to women who have 28 days or longer in their cycle? My cycles have been 25 days since we started on the meds. Today is day 20.....

Moral of my story... I am totally testing on Sunday! The trigger should be out of my system by Friday.

Can I do or say anything else to try and convince myself? How pathetic can I get! I promised myself I wouldn't make myself insane this month, but here I am, only at the 1 week mark and I cannot think of anything but this.

AWWW....Sorry girly....I know its sooo hard to wait. I hated the waiting period. I would defiantly not test before 10 days after a trigger shot at the very earliest!!! I waited till 13 days after and then was still very anxious....I kept asking was it too soon, is this a false pos, etc. I would not wish those thoughts or feeling on anyone.

I know the trigger shot takes 10-14 days to get out of your system depending on how your body works. I used the First Response test and they work really well. They do a pretty good job of early detection but the longer you can wait of course the better. I would say if your CY has been 25 days they you are good to go at 20 for testing as long as it’s pasted the time for the trigger shoot to be out of your system.

I truly truly hope this is your CY.....I can not wait to hear your test results...keeps us posted.
