Its only just begun

When I thought my beta numbers were dropping Its only just begun.
Yesterday I had my b/w done in the afternoon to check my beta number that were like in the 500's from the slowing going miscarriage. So when I didn't here from the doctor I was just thinking they would call me in the morning and that was that. Well I went to dinner with my daughter and mom and dad and sister Thusday evening. Right when I got there I said to my mom "I'm getting really bad cramps. So went to the bathroom and just sat there I was having terrible pains. So like after awhile a long while my mom and sister was checking on me, they finally had me call the doctor. He said go to the emergency room and he will meet me there. I got there and they took me right away. My Re said he called the labs on the way and found out my HCG level jumped from 500 to 1200, not good. My pains did ease up a little but they were still bad. He was planning on doing surgery that night. He did an ultrasound and my tube was swelled so he wanted me to stay over night. They did more b/w and my numbers went to 1800. This morning my b/w showing they went back down to 1100 so the RE gave a shot of Methotrexate instead of going to surgery because this an injected drug that will dissolve the fetus and allow the body to reabsorb it. It is a noninvasive procedure and reduces the amount of scarring to your reproductive organs.
So now I am home and feeling crappy. I have to go in for b/w on Tue and Fri. to make sure the levels drop if they don't I'll have to have another shot.
If I start to feel pain again I will have to go to the ER and then have surgery.
I hope everything goes well.
I do have to go but I will check in later.

You poor darling. I'm so sorry that you have had to go through all this pain - both emotional and physical. I wish they would have done an u/s to look closely at the tube in the first place when they didn't find a sac in the uterus. Please take care of yourself. Do you have some help with Corinne? Glad you were with your mom and sis when that pain hit.

OH My Goodness girly!!! I am so very sorry you are going though all this. I hope you feel better really soon and that this shoot works for you. Please keep us posted. I am glad they caught it befor your tube burst!!! Get lots of rest so your body can heal and when you can start to try again you will be ready.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending lots and lots of positive energy.

I hope you heal fast!!!!

Oh I am so sorry Karen, I wish you didn't have to go through all this pain and heartache. Like Shannon said i am so glad you were with your mom and sister. I will be thinking of you at this time, keep us posted on your b/w.

A little info. What I was suppose to say in my statement below was that the tube did not swell.
Shannon to answer your question they didn't see anything in my tube thats why I had all the doctors stumped. In the beginning they were just thinking I had a chemical pregnancy and my hcg levels would start coming down on there own. Which the hcg levels did in the beginning up until yesterday when they started to rise. What my Re was thinking was that the placenta was probably growing in my tube or somewhere outside the uterus. I still don't know if he knows for sure whats going on. The doctors just kept saying that this was very strange for the hcg level to rise after 2 weeks of dropping. I talked to one of my friends about it and she was saying I wondering if there was two embryos, maybe one went quickly and the other was in my tube or somewhere else. I and my doctors don't know. Its a very weird situation.
Like you all said Thank God my family was with me. My mom and sister took me to the hospital. My dad and my neice and nephews took Corinne to my mom house where she stayed the night. DH came home from work early. He usually doesn't get home until Friday evenings. Like I said before its just very strange. I just hope its a quick recovery.
