Ours was busy busy busy! Town celebration all day on Saturday. Family came to eat (again) on Sunday - what a spread we had. Nice Sunday afternoon with family and friends visiting and just enjoying fellowship together. Got a new (to us - refurbished) big screen TV to replace our old one that has been having a black line through the middle for about a month. Got a free 35 inch TV for making the purchase! What a deal! The big screen is HDTV.

The negatives ~ Ava's allergies started up on Friday, by Saturday she was coughing and by Sunday she was really coughing. Mommie obviously picked up the cold bug from Ava. Half of my nose is stuffy and I keep coughing as well. GREAT another summer cold! Seems like I just finally got over the lasting effects (hoarseness) of the previous one. So it looks like a trip to the doctor tomorrow, if we can get in. Mondays are so bad to try to get worked in. And with an already feeling bad baby, it's even worse.

But all in all, I enjoyed my weekend with DH home and time with family and friends. Can't wait to hear what you all did.

Shannon I am glad you had a nice weekend. Sometimes it can be so nice to just spend time with family and friends. GEE girlie... sick again, you poor thing. Hopefully you can get to the doctor soon and get some meds in you and your DD. Get feeling better soon!!

As for me...Well...
AF FINALLY reared her ugly head with madness on Saturday nite about 1:00 in the A.M. So I am waiting until 8:00 to call the RE's office. I think I have to go in to make sure I do not have any cysts, and watch some video about giving myself the shots. Hoping and praying for no cysts, I will let you ladies know what is going on as soon as I know something. YEEEAAAA for a 30 day cycle . The met. must be working cause I thought I would never have a cycle that short! O- the weekend was nice and short. DH and I spent time together finishing the waterfall/pond in our backyard until AF arrived and then I was down and out with cramps.

Friday went over a friends house I haven't seen in awhile. The girls had a bon fire and chatted it was nice.
Sat. Went to dinner with dh and had another fire outside.
Sunday was grandma's b-day. Went and had brunch then me and dd went to the beach. Dh had to go back to work out of town. fun, fun, fun.

My weekend was also pretty busy, but fun!

Friday night, we didn't do much because my DH and I were both kinda tired and he was getting up early to go fishing with a few of his buddies.

Saturday, my DH went fishing in the morning, while I do-dahed around the house and ran some errands. Later on that night, we had a whole bunch of friends over for a BBQ. It was so much fun! I don't think we've had a get-together at our house since we've moved here.....it seems like we're always going to someone else's place.

Sunday, we slept in, cleaned up the mess from the BBQ the night before, ran a few more errands, and then went bowling with another couple (who were also at our BBQ). After bowling, we went out to eat at Chili's together. Then, my DH and I came home and watched some DVDs we had rented.

All in all, it was a very nice weekend! They sure do go by way too fast though!

Sounds like some nice weekends! I think we'll try to have a Post-Weekend thread each week. I know in the past when we've done them before the weekend, lots don't have plans. But like all the get togethers with friends/family for us weren't planned till last minute - so I would have posted no big plans. This way, we can tell about what happened.

Nessa ~ I know another cold this soon. I am not up for one a month all summer. I need to get back on my prenatal vitamins. When I took those, I rarely got sick.
