Just checking posts and noticed your ticker about the BIG u/s and your PG ticker. I can't believe you are already almost 1/2 way through girlfriend!!!

So will you guys be finding out the sex - if baby cooperates that is? So good to see you here today. I know you are busy, but we miss you around here. Love ya!

Hi, Shannon! I know, I can't believe I'm almost halfway through my pregnancy. It seems like this first half has flown by, but I'm sure this second half won't seem like it until the baby is here. LOL

Yep, my BIG u/s is December 11th! And we are definitely finding out the sex (if the baby cooperates)! My DH and I are soooo excited, we can hardly stand it. I am literally counting down the days.

I keep bugging my DH to take the day off work so we can spend the whole day together. My appointment is at 10 am, so after we find out if it's a boy or a girl, I would like to go shopping and pick out a few outfits for the baby. Then......I'd like go to Babies 'R Us and get our baby registry started. Maybe at Target too. Yay!

I'm barely showing....got a little bit of a baby belly.....but I'm sure it's gonna be getting bigger real soon.

Believe it or not, I've been thinking about cloth diapering!! Am I crazy?? What have you done....and what do you plan to do with this next bean?

How exciting I have a doctor's appt the day before your BIG u/s!!! So I certainly won't forget about it.

I think spending the whole day together would be such a memorable way to do it, if DH can get off. You certainly won't regret it and be sure to write down a journal entry or just a note to put in baby's book about the day you found out what he/she was. You'll be glad you did that too!

As for diapers, no I'm not a cloth diaper fan. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't. I just had to do that with one of my older boys when they were little because we couldn't afford disposables for a while and I truly didn't enjoy the smell or the mess. But that's me and probably because I was forced into the situation rather than embracing it and choosing to cloth diaper. I know several ladies on my Born in January board (Ava's group) that did/do CD and they had no problems with it. With how much I'm on the road with DH working out of town, disposables are just more convenient. There's nothing that says you can't do both either. You might want to try DDs at the beginning when babies poop and pee a lot till they get their eating schedules regulated. Just my opinion for a first time mom. You certainly don't want to get overwhelmed and you tend to go through a lot of any type of diaper when they are tiny.

Hedi~I've missed you girl...you were my very first friend and cy buddy on SK. You have no idea just how happy I am for you and that sweet little baby.Please post more ofter, I miss you uplifting posts.

Heidi ~ I am so excited for you to find out the gender!!!
As Shannon said it will be such a memorable day, and if yourself and DH can spend the whole day together it will make it even more special....So good to hear from you, and just as everyone has said, you were one of my first buddies on here too, and that's why i am sooo thrilled for you!:o)
