Well, today is CD18 and I went in this morning to check and see if those follies grew. This has felt like a really weird kind of cycle. My temps have been all over the place, the fertility monitor has read high for about five days now and the last few days I've had sort of cramping and pulling sensations low down around my uterus.
Anyway, left ovary only showed a couple of tiny follies. Right ovary had a 16 and a 17mm follie, but she said something about seeing some "echoes" and that could mean they were corpus luteums. They took some blood to check my progesterone levels and that will tell them if I have ovulated already. I'll hear back this afternoon and see where we're at from there.
If I
have ovulated I'm not sure if we caught it at the right time or if my follicles were even big enough to have a chance.
Fingers crossed for good results this afternoon. (Although I don't know what to hope for; ovulation already or ready for trigger shot!)
