Hey ladies!
Well, AF finally arrived on Thursday, so today I took my first dose of Femara!! I took it in the evening, because I heard it can cause some nausea and hot flashes. I thought maybe I could sleep through the worst.
Does anyone know if it is ok that I am taking it in the evening? Around 6:00? I hope that's ok. I'm so nervous about screwing this up, but also very excited that I'm finally getting started. Any advice would really help me out right now! Hopefully, Femara will be our answer!

Metformin 1000mg daily
Femara 2.5 mg CD3-7
HCG shots

1st round-
Femara 2.5 mg CD3-7
Positive OPK- CD 11: HCG shot

2nd round-
Femara 2.5mg CD3-7
Currently on HOLD due to dh's s/a results. Waiting to see a urologist.

Good luck, Kristen! I'm not sure about taking it in the evening. I don't see what it would hurt. I take mine in the morning, but I never had any side effects. I hope FE does the trick for you and you get your !! I will say, my doc never specified whether to take in the the am or pm, so I think you'll be fine! Good luck!

When I took Femara, I took it at 7pm to sleep through any side effects.

- Aug. 17th 1st beta test 462 ****Miscarried - ectopic pregnancy 9/9/07 Lost right tube.
*3rd Round, Oct. '07 - Follistim & Hcg shot w/IUI-10/28/07 ** ended in chemical pregnancy 11/07
*4th Round, Feb 25th, - Follistim & Hcg shot w/IUI - Cancelled due to many mature follies.

Yes, I was told by my doctor to take it in the evening and avoid the s/e.
