Hi Ladies, I am new here. I have been lurking for several months, but this will be my first post. Question, I did my trigger shot on Friday cd 12, we bd that night and this am. I wanted to know if I miss my chances for my bfp this month. The Re told me to bd on friday, and saturday. We were too tried and we fell asleep to bd waiting. I want to here from anyone who has gotten a bfp. Please response. I am in my 2ww as of today. gif

I'm not going to try and discourage you, but when I got my trigger shot, my dr. told us to bd for the next 3 days and they were important days. Sperm can stay alive for nearly 72 hours, so maybe you didn't miss your chance since you bd'ed on Friday.

Good luck and hope you stick around. I'm new also and these ladies are awesome and very helpful!

Well I think if you BD on Friday you still got good chances, since the little guys can be alive up to 5 days, but the more the better, and Saturday probably was the best day...

I was on Femara and Ovidrel with timed BD'ing and had success. I am now 16 weeks PG

I know the instructions I got were this: I had to take the shot on what happened to be a sat morning, the doctor told us mandatory BD’ing on sat night and Sunday and that everything else was optional. We opted to BD Sat Sun and Mon and while my hubby cleaned up I laid with my legs over my head and my feel resting on the wall behind me for as long as I possibly could before I cleaned up (I took a risk of getting a UTI as I get them very badly and all the time from BD’ing but it did not matter to me.... LOL) I still remember my hubby coming back in the room and laughing at me asking what the heck I was doing.... I just said I am helping your boys get to the egg!!! LOL Still makes me laugh but it worked

The trigger shot forces ovulation between 24-36 hours after taking it. The best chance to catch the egg is to have intercourse before you ovulate as it take the sperm a bit of time to swim up stream and get in place. I would say you are partly covered but unfortunately not 100%. GOOD LUCK.... I truly hope this is your CY!!!!
