I was on Femara and Ovidrel with timed BD'ing and had success. I am now 16 weeks PG
I know the instructions I got were this: I had to take the shot on what happened to be a sat morning, the doctor told us mandatory BD’ing on sat night and Sunday and that everything else was optional. We opted to BD Sat Sun and Mon and while my hubby cleaned up I laid with my legs over my head and my feel resting on the wall behind me for as long as I possibly could before I cleaned up (I took a risk of getting a UTI as I get them very badly and all the time from BD’ing but it did not matter to me.... LOL) I still remember my hubby coming back in the room and laughing at me asking what the heck I was doing.... I just said I am helping your boys get to the egg!!! LOL Still makes me laugh but it worked
The trigger shot forces ovulation between 24-36 hours after taking it. The best chance to catch the egg is to have intercourse before you ovulate as it take the sperm a bit of time to swim up stream and get in place. I would say you are partly covered but unfortunately not 100%. GOOD LUCK.... I truly hope this is your CY!!!!
