Default Couple questions

Hi

Just looking for thoughts / similar experiences - Done with 2nd round of clomid and no signs of O'ing - really bad side effects and cysts just on 50mg so dr. said no upping the dosage

So sounds like femara might be a better / different option so any advice would be a great help!

(if it helps i was completely normal before BC, but went off and nothing - no reasons so far as to why)

Hi, Clomid didn't make me ovulate either, it doesn't work for everyone. As soon as I switched to Femara, I've been ovulating and no side effects! Hope it works for you too!

Thanks!

Usage-wise is it the same (induce "AF", then take 5-9)?

Not sure how long I'll have to wait - i'm only on CD16 but last time AF (well they didn't call it that) showed up on CD20 so......

I never took Clomid, so I can't compare, but I loved Femara. I had absolutely zero side effects. I haven't gotten AF yet, but I'm 99.99% I'm not pg. So, my doc is gonna bump me up from 2.5mg to 5mg. I take mine CD 5-9. Hope this helps!

I did not take Clomid either as my doctor does not like how it tends to think the uterine lining and if its too think your egg will not implant. I went strait on Femara and Ovidrel (trigger shot). I had surgery first and then took Femara days CD 4-8, had a scan on CD 11 to check on how my body reacted to the med and then triggered on CD 13 and did timed BD'ing on CD 13-16 and we had SUCCESS

Our little Femara miracle is due on May 4th, 2008 I found the SE's were not bad at all!!!

GOOD luck!!!

Just wanted to take a minute to welcome you to our board. I have no experience with Clomid myself. All I know is that often it wreaks havoc on the uterine lining and doesn't make things conducive to implantation. Hope Femara is the answer for you! I look forward to getting to know you.
