Can you Adam and Eve it?
Oh my goodness, can you just believe it?
So i go to see my RE today and long story short i went from having 1x 14.5mm and 1x 12mm on Monday to after only 2 days i have 6 mature follies 22,17,16,15,15,15,15,and many 10s..Crazy i tell ya.
So i of course now have too many for IUI....So my RE gave me lots of advice, and a few options...I have decided to definitely NOT do the trigger as DH and i did have relations last night and 6 mature follies potentially dropping is not an option for me :o)
I have been doing OPK and have not had a positive, but today my progesterone b/w was 3.6 indicating that Ovulation has started.....And my b/w also indicates that my Estrogen is at a whopping 2038...Very high, so OHS has been mentioned, my RE feels quite confident i should be ok, but with the numbers being that high, they just want me to be aware of the symptoms.
I will still take my Progesterone supplements, just incase this is our miracle month :o)
Can you believe it though, i had such a slow response and then suddenly day 15 at the same dosage boom! I do feel so much more confident about my fertility future though, this was the pick me up i needed....My RE was wonderful, again he said that he "knows i will get pregnant" he was more concerned about me emotionally than physically....But to be honest today has given me such hope and a fresh look on my IF, I now know that i can respond to the meds.....and Doc also told me that i should not worry about the slow response and he likes the look of my chart and all my levels, he joked that i am the ideal candidate for triplets, hahaha.

Re: Can you Adam and Eve it?
Thank you ladies!
So we have definitely decided to leave it up to nature now, what will be, will be.....No trigger of course....Dr wants me to start the progesterone just incase :o)
BTW Shannon i love your pics...You look a lot like imagined you, except for some reason i thought you had lighter hair, probably bc of Ava's coloring...How does Ava feel about being a big sis?

Wow, I'm so glad its working for you! I agree, a potential of 6 at once is a bit much! Have you seen Jon and Kate plus 8 on TLC? I don't know how she stays sane!

DH was blonde as a young child. I however have never had light colored hair. LOL I always thought my dark hair would dominate and I would get at least one dark haired child, but every one of them have at least started out as blondes. Got my fingers crossed that if this one is a girl, she will have dark hair. Boy's I like both ways, so ....
Ava still doesn't quite get it about the baby. She's still a little young. I think once the baby starts moving to where she can feel it from the outside, she will start to get it.
Last night as I was rocking her to sleep, I could feel the baby squirming and thought how funny that will be when she's in my lap laying face front toward me and gets a kick.

Re: Can you Adam and Eve it?
My SIL is the same she has the darkest hair and both her kids are as blonde as can be....So at what stage did you start feeling the baby squirm?... I know i sound naive but i didn't think you could feel anything until closer to 20 weeks...See i have no idea...Can't wait to find out!!!

Re: Can you Adam and Eve it?
I was wondering the same thing (when do you feel the baby move?) I also read that you dont usually hear the heart beat til around 10-12 wks so im wondering how i (and the ultrasound tech) was able to hear my babys heart beat so well(she even told me it was 153 bpm) when i was only in my 7th week at the time. Dont get me wrong, im in no way complaining, i was thrilled to hear the heart beat, just surprised to hear it so soon. Ive been wondering about this but maybe it was just Gods way of reassuring me that the baby is doing ok. ?? Any thoughts?

Re: Can you Adam and Eve it?
Lou- I started feeling my baby move around 19 weeks. I think I probably felt stuff earlier, but had NO idea that it was the baby moving! I think I read somewhere that most women will start feeling movement between 18 and 24 weeks....and it really depends on a lot of things. Like your weight, where the placenta is located, how many babies are in there, etc, etc.
Carolyn- If I remember right, you should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat with a fetal doppler by 12 weeks. It can be heard before then, but they usually don't try until closer to he 12th week because they don't want to freak you out if they can't find it with the doppler. The reason you heard your baby's heartbeat during the 7th week is because you had an internal ultrasound and the sound waves could pick it up.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask away! Love ya both!

Heidi: The last ultrasound i had was on 1-8-08(the one where i heard the heart beart) but that one was an abdominal ultrasound, took everything i had to hold my bladder lol. My first ultrasound was on 1-3-08(vaginal ultrasound). Who knows? lol. I just cant wait to feel the baby moving around!!

Re: Can you Adam and Eve it?
When you've already had a baby, you tend to be able to feel it a little earlier. I didn't feel Ava until closer to 19 or 20 weeks because it had been so long and I had forgotten what it felt like. With this one, I started feeling the little bubbly flutters around 14 weeks and it has turned into squirmy feeling just in the last week, mainly when baby "gets in a bind" from my clothing (like when I try to wear my regular jeans with the zipper halfway down and am sitting. The part that doesn't give presses in on my tummy down low and I will feel him/her squirming until I unzip or stand back up.
