Default Bfn

Hey ladies...
Well, AF came to town last night, so I guess that's a . I was pretty emtional last night, but I'm doing better today. Just another bump in the road... but it will happen for us eventually, we won't give up. I haven't cried over getting my period in such a long time, dh and I have been trying for 4 1/2 years now, but this was the first month of medication and seeing a specialist. Everything went so well with this cycle, that I guess I got my hopes up. I know that God has a plan, and that He's just waiting until OUR baby is ready for us. Just wanted to let everyone know, because I said I'd keep you updated.
DH is getting a s/a tomorrow morning, so we'll see how that goes, and I start my 2nd dose of Femara tomorrow night.

Thanks for listening, girls. There aren't many people out there who understand, but I know I can come here and let it all out.

I'm so sorry and know how you feel. I haven't been TTC for as long as you, but a good cry usually comes monthly for me as well. I am on my first cycle of Femara as well, but won't know anything for another week.

Best wishes to you on a new month! God will provide when the time is right. (even though the wait is hard, it is so worth it in the end)

So sorry Kristen I know you were hopeful. Your attitude is right and there is nothing wrong with a cry. It just shows how much you and DH long for the child God has for you. Let us know how DH's s/a goes and good luck with this next cycle.

Oh honey--I am fairly new to the board but I did want to say I was so sorry. I do think though that crying is cathartic--and helps you move on. You know I believe that each cycle we grieve the loss of the baby we hoped for and so crying is very appropriate. It will be good to have dh evaluated and it does sound like you responded to the meds favorably. You are even on a lesser dose of the Femara. You have been so patient and it will be so good to be able to see you get your reward for being so patient. PLease let us know how dh's tests go. Af is expected for me on Sat. My temps dropped so now I am just in a waiting pattern until she shows. I have a few days to grieve before she actually shows up--I can never decide if draggin it out like that is good--gives me time to prepare(and not take me by surprise)--or torturous ,making me wait for something that I know is inevitable

I'm just "lurking" but I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry that this wasn't your month. And that I TOTALLY agree with the "it's in God's plan". It is what my husband and I live by. Even though it may not be what YOU want, he has a plan for all of us! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!

Thanks for all of the kind words girls!
I was a bit emotional on and off today... mostly because of the near panic attack the pharmacy tried to inflict upon me when they tried to sell my FE to me for $330. I had tried out a new pharmacy and I think they got mixed up and accidentally tried to sell me a full 30 days of femara, rather than the five pills I actually need. After I settled down, I called my old pharmacy and they got the situation figured out, and back to the price I'm used to. PHEW!!
Thankfully, my Mom was with me, and we figured it out together. I don't think I would have gotten so emotional about it had AF not shown up last night. In retrospect it's pretty funny, but at the moment it was sheer panic!!!
After spending the day with my Mom and having some "girly time," and talking with dh, my spirits are lifted and I am ready to get started again. God blessed me with a truly calming moment this afternoon when the song "Let It Be" popped into my head. So that's what I'm doing, letting it be. This will be a great lesson for me in letting go and letting God take control.
Thanks again girls!!!! You are all amazing!

Kristen my heart goes out to you.
Everytime I get a BFN I just feel such a loss. Nobody understands that feeling accept people like us that are ttc.
Hang in there. If this is the first time going to a specialist he/she will find the right cocktail for you and you will get that BFP.
