Default b/w results r in

Well it turns out that I have some sort of autoimmune disease that is attacking the tissue (baby). They want me to start on a baby aspirin and either lavenox injections or heparin injections on cd 18 which will keep my body from attacking the fetus. I will be on the injections from cd 18 until 36-38 weeks of pregnancy. I am very blessed that my re's was able to figure out what was going on without doing the full blood panel testing and very thrilled to find out what was going on in such a short amount of time. I just finishied my provera on Sunday and waiting for af (anyday now!, I can def. feel her coming on!!) and the hsg is scheduled for the 16th. Then the next month we will be cycling again so *FINGERS CROSSED* AND with God we WILL have a healthy happy baby at the end of all of this.
Thank you lady so much for being there for me~
Love,
Nessa

Wow--I am glad you got an answer too--and it looks like in the past you have been able to get pg so with the new finding you should be in good hands. I thought that the aspirin and lovenox treated blood clotting disorders or maybe it is the same--was it a test for Antiphospholipid Antibodies? There is another test too.

Awww, Nessa! I'm sooooooo glad that they finally found something to possibly explain your losses/difficulty conceiving! I am so unbelievably excited for you! I sure hope this fixes the problem and that you'll be able to conceive really soon! You and your DH have been through so much.....I cannot wait to hear that you two are expecting! It will all be worth it in the end, trust me! Wishing you the best of luck!

Glad they found out what was the cause. Sounds like yours was a little different than mine. I had to take Prednisone (steroid) and mine was my Rheumatoid Factor being out of whack. Of course there are several different auto-immune issues that can affect pregnancy and I think most of them are pretty easy to take care of. I'd like to know which one you had, if you happen to find out. Hope your new "treatment" works out quickly and you are able to conceive and carry the next baby to term without a hitch!

Thanks ladies!
I talked to my re's nurse and she told me the name of test but I wrote it down at work and forgot to bring it home. Something like aps or something, I am not for sure. I will find out more when I talk to the actual re instead of the nurse. She just told what the test was called and the way she explained it to me was that your body has two antigens and one of mine tested positive and with the heparin it will keep my body from rejecting the antigens?!!? Like I said I don't really know all I know is I am positive for something and the heparin injections will keep my body from rejecting the pregnancy like it has in the past. I will bring home the name of the test tomorrow. When I go for my hsg I will ask my re but since he proably won't have my chart at the hsg I don't know how much he will be able to tell me. I am just so thankful that we hopefully found out exactly what is going...

ps-Heidi~You are getting so close!!! Can't wait to hear the birth story and see some pics!!

I am totally shocked I remember the piece of paper from work today. Af showed last nite I am being kicked in a** by her. The nurse called it Flocytanaylism for Maternal Antibodies AKA~FACS. I believe this is the test name. As you can read from my post above my Antigens tested positive. Anyone have any thoughts I guess I should have googled before hand, which my re's nurse instructed me NOT to do. Hello it is my body I have a right to know.
Off to google...
