You mentioned that you had a massage the other day. I was wondering what type and how long you had it. I had promised myself a massage when I met my goal of 50 pounds, but I didn't know if you could get one in your first trimester of pregnancy? Just thought you might be able to shed some light on the subject. Thansk!

OH MY GOOODNESSSSSSSSSSS.....Congratz X2!!!! I am so excited for you!!!!! I have been catching up on all the forms from my time away.

You can for sure have a massage in your first trimester the only thing you need to make sure you do is tell the masseuse you are pregnant as they will want to make sure not to massage your feet. From everything I have learned there are certain pressure points on the feet that can bring on labor so it’s best to stay away from them early on.

The massage I had was called a Hot Stone Massage. It was the third time I have had one....I have to say its my very favorite. They use a combination of hot and cold stones and it is so very relaxing and wonderful. There are many many different types of massage you can get, I would go to the spa in your area and get a brochure....there should be an explanation / write up on each type. That way you can read though them all and pick one that sounds the most appealing to you. I LOVE them and if I had the money I would get different ones done all the time......BUT unfortunately it’s not in the budget.

Have fun and CONGRATZ on BOTH of the new things in your life. Hitting your weight loss goal is so amazing!!! AND now a new little bean..... that’s awesome.

If you have any other questions let me know.
