Default AF Questions...

Hello All~
This month AF started really slow, super light and no pain. Prior to being on meds, AF was never light and usually pretty painful, especially around day 2 & 3. Yesterday (day 3) I took my femara and about 5 hours later, AF kicked into full gear with cramps and lots of flow (sorry if that is TMI).

Has anyone else found that as soon as they take their femara their AF symptoms kick in? And- has anyone else had a much easier start either with ovidrel or femara?

I really want to start keeping track of what my body is doing throughout the entire cycle- who knows what tiny little piece of the puzzle might be missing~

Thanks a ton~

i have been pondering this same situation today, talk about coincidence.
My AF too has started very slow, just spotting I have had only 1 day where i felt it was a wee bit more, very similar last month but AF had kicked in a bit more by now. I spoke to my nurse today and she told me it is my choice as to whether i start my meds, or wait it out incase i do get more flow. She also told me if i go ahead and start them and then AF does become more, then i can just start over with the meds, could be costly, but if i wait for AF to worsen and she doesn't, then this month will be a bust!
So I have decided to start the meds, because i just feel that what i am experiencing is my AF. I too always had them heavy w/some pain...Since meds and M/C, mine are actually much better, but for me just not my "normal"
Hopefully we do still have all our pieces, even if it does feels like we are taking the long road!

This was my first cycle with femara but I know that CD1+2 were so-so but 3-7 while I was on the medicine was WAY WAY heavier and crampier. i'm hoping that this is my cycle (even though i think with my headaches and acne comin'---af is coming) so I don't have to experience the AF from hell again.

Sorry Girls I am not much help with this issue either. I was only on Femara for one CY and to be completely honest I did not notice a change in my flow at all. Mind you I started to take it on day 4 and my CY really only last 5 days sooo maybe I was just very lucky.

I hope it works out for all of you and that this CY you ALL get your !!! You are all in my thoughts. Good luck!!!
