Post the most?

I mean no disrespect in any way with this question, but I was just wondering what the benefit was to SK to have a post the most contest? I have noticed that some people are just responding with "filler" posts to threads they normally wouldn't go near or respond to - it is kind of annoying when they really aren't contributing much to the thread, perhaps just simply agreeing or adding a "good luck" here or there. Again, I really don't mean to sound disrespectful about this, for all I know there is a very good reason for this contest, I just thought I would ask

The post the most helps to increase our page views which in turn helps with the sponsors, who keep this a free site.
