Well, it finally happened. My son had his first day of school this morning! It really does go by fast.
I hardly knew what to do with me and Spencer with Nathaniel gone all day. It was so quiet, we actually had a nice nap together!
I have a question for you moms out there with older children. How many kids did or do you have in your child's Kindergarten class? Nathaniel has 22 kids, which to me seems out of control for this age group. It put me in a panic the other day when I found out, as I had been under the impression that 20 was the limit. I thought 20 would be too high, but 22, like I said, just seemed (and seems) crazy.
As a result, I am looking at some other last minute options. I won't know though until Monday if we can transfer, so we had to start him at the current school.
I'm so bummed. This is a nice school and I really like the Principal and teachers. I just don't want my child to be left behind in an overpopulated classroom.
