Default Too much of a good thing

Im sure this is a rediculous question, but is it possible to eat too much fruit? Jackson is obsessed with grapes and strawberries, if hes in the kitchen and someone opens the fridge, he HAS to have some if he sees them! He probably has 1banana, 12 large strawberries and 12-18 grapes a day.

Logan is a fruit junkie too! It could be worse, they could be wanting candy. Keep it up girl.

I would say that it is too much if he was getting a nasty diaper or bad diaper rash. (when Matthew was a toddler limit his fruit intake). I think it is great that he loves it. You might want to ask your pediatrician though.

Kaian loves apples and oranges too. I give them to him when he asks for "nandy" (candy) ..... I think that I almost have him fooled

Sherisse, I agree with Jen, as long as there is no rash and his body seems to be processing it I would assume that its fine. Maybe someone will copy and paste a paragraph from a "medical" website though so you can be sure.

I'd say as long as he's also getting his grains, protein (meat unless you're veg), dairy, and veggies... at least over the course of a week/few days... then it's just fine Also, I probably wouldn't give juice too, in addition to the fruit... I'd give milk/water the fresh fruit is better than the fruit juice anyway.

Yeah trish jackson has no idea what candy really is either.

Sunny, jackson already drinks 2-3 8oz sippies of milk a day plus 1 8oz bottle at bedtime...but hes still always asking for a drink and WONT drink water..so im not sure what to do there!

Wow that's a lot of milk

I don't have any advice there though... DS only gets juice on very rare occasions, and it's always VERY watered down (1/4 juice, 3/4 water) b/c it gives him diarrhea so bad. Maybe you could water it down a little more every few days until you get to very little juice and a lot of water?
