This is a discussion on Sleeping Arrangements within the October 2006- Precious Pumpkins forums, part of the Born in 2006 category; My little guy is still sleeping in our bed with us. We are going to be working on getting him ...
My little guy is still sleeping in our bed with us. We are going to be working on getting him out and into his crib soon. I was just curious....how many of your little ones are in a crib, toddler bed, mattress on the floor or in your bed??
DS is still in bed with us. We upgraded to king size when I got pregnant cause full just wasn't cutting it anymore His crib has been set up in the guest room as a full bed since we moved here, finally getting use lol...
When he's ready for his own space we'll probably do a toddler mattress on our floor first, then whenever he asks for his own room he'll get it.

Parker's in his crib for the most part. He occasionally sleeps with us if he's sick or something. He hasn't tried to climb out yet either and I'm thanking the Lord! I'm not ready for a toddler bed yet.

He mainly sleeps in a crib. He has been in a crib in our room until this month. He is now in a crib in his brothers room. he occasionally comes and sleeps with us in the early am.
Noah slept in a pack and play until he was four months old and then moved into a crib. He has never slept with us. We are so glad he's not trying to climb out yet either (knock on wood). When he's ready for a bed we won't bother with a toddler bed we'll just go to a twin but we'll probably have him on the mattress on the floor for awhile (but we'll see)
Pip did a Moses basket for the first 6 weeks and then into her crib in her own room. She's still in it but we are watching for signs see if she's ready for her own bed. I think we will just use the double that is in our soon-to-be nursery as her bed and pray she doesn't move around so much that she can make it to the edge of a double bed (we'll have guardrails of course). I figure the new baby will be in our room for at least 6 weeks again so if she doesn't feel inclined to move until the fall that'll be fine with us.

Baby #2 due July 2008
Lily was in our bed or the swing or bassinet until 3-4 months, then she slept in the pack in play in our room until she started sitting up at 5 months. She's been in her crib since and has only come into our bed 2x (to actually sleep) when she was sick or scared.
I'm planning on using an Arm's Reach cosleeper with the new baby.. DH doesn't feel safe with a baby in our bed, and I need more room lol.

Reilly was in our bed until 3 months, then in a bassinet until 5, then in his pack n' play (own room) until just after a year. Then we got a crib, knowing Jaina was coming along. He always sleeps in his crib in his room and 95% of the time he asks to be put in it when he's tired (with sign language). Jaina is another story. She's just not SLEEPING, and she's in our room (because there's no way we're messing with his 12 solid hours of sleep at night) and I hear every single noise she makes, and I make noise that wakes her up (DH says) and we're just not happy campers at night. I'm just glad Reilly sleeps.
Mac has been in a toddler bed for a few months. He shares a room with Delaney and I would say about once a week he sneaks into her bed, otherwise he's a pretty independent sleeper.

Cooper was in our room until he was 9mo's old. First in a bassinette, then pack-n-play, then crib. When we moved, he went to his own room, and has slept through the night ever since. I guess maybe our snoring was what kept him up! Now he sleeps 8pm til 6:30am. It's very nice. He may wake up when teething, but usually takes DH less than 15 minutes to get him back to sleep.
Audrey sleeps in our room in a cot, when she wakes during the night she gets in with us, i have to get her in our own bed soon, before next bub comes lol.

Just about the time you think you can't handle hearing one more "when is that baby going to pop?", your baby will decide to make it's appearance. We predict your baby will be born 3-7 days before its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 6.8 pounds and that your labor will be about 9 hours long.
Jack is in a crib in his own room. So far he has had no inclination to climb out. We are moving him to a new crib and bedroom next month to make room for the new addition. Let's hope it goes smoothly!
I bought Demari his toddler bed on friday and so far it seems to be working out, He slept in it on friday night and today he took his nap in it, he really likes it.
Sam has slept in his crib in his own room since day 1. He has never slept in the same room as us unless we were on vacation. He hasn't ever tried to crib out of his crib. When it's time to transition, we will move him into a single bed, which is already in his room.
I don't know how you mommas sleep with a squirmy little one in the bed! I've tried a few times when DH was out of town to put Sam in bed with me at night, but I couldn't take it!! After an hour or so of kicking, squirming, turning over, pulling my hair, exclaiming "Whee!" playing with my navel, etc, I had to put him right back into the crib each time. I tried again on Mother's Day night because I thought it would be sweet to have him in bed with us, but after 30 minutes of no sleep, it wasn't much fun for anyone (well, maybe fun for Sam). Luckily, he likes his crib.
